(Weekly Idol, Jaeyeon POV)

JYP is having Street Boyz and L.O.V.E. 9 do our very first episode of Weekly Idol together so we can continue doing our promotions as rookies. He figured this will give us good publicity, especially since Minjae and I are twins, who also happen to be the leaders of our groups. The staff adjusted our name tags while the hosts we're doing the show's intro.

Jeong Hyeongdon and Defconn, the hosts of Weekly Idol, then introduce us. That's our cue to go over there next to them. "Idols, introduce yourselves, starting with the girls." "Let your love emerge! Hello! We're L.O.V.E. 9!" the girls and I say. The boys say, "We are the Street Boyz! Hello, we're Street Boyz!"

Hyeongdon says, "Nice introduction, kids. I love the girls' introduction. Is there a meaning behind it?" "'Let your love emerge' is a way of us asking the fans to show their love, support and appreciation to us," Mihyung says. Jewel explains, "It's also similar to our group name L.O.V.E. 9."

"L.O.V.E. is an acronym for 'Let Our Voices Emerge,'" I explained. Defconn asks, "So together it's 'Let Our Voices Emerge 9'?" "Pretty much," Chae-Lee says. Hyeongdon says, "So only nine of you are letting your voices emerge today? I guess the boys have no use of being here if they're called Street Boyz. They're introduction was boring compared to the girls. Someone take them back to the streets!"

The girls and I laugh as we see Defconn jokingly trying to drag the boys out of here. "Time for individual introductions. Let's start with the leaders of both group," Defconn says. Minjae and I look at the cameras and say, "Hello everyone. We are Jaeyeon, the leader of L.O.V.E. 9, and Minjae, the leader of Street Boyz."

"We've heard a lot about you two," Hyeongdon says, "you're the famous Im Twins aren't you?" "Yes we are," I said. Minjae says, "The daughter and son of Im Jaebum of Got7 himself." "No wonder why you're the leaders of the groups," Defconn says, "I guess like father, like children." "Our Appa is our inspiration," we say.

When we were done, it was everyone else's turn for their introductions. "Hello. I'm the vocal powerhouse of L.O.V.E. 9, Chae-Lee." "Hello, I'm Street Boyz's voice, Jinseok." "Hello, I'm L.O.V.E. 9's pretty Unpretty Rapster, Mihyung." "Hello, I'm Street Boyz's Show Me The Money Eunhyuk." "Hello, I'm L.O.V.E. 9's shining diamond, Jewel." "Hello, I'm Street Boyz's mighty dragon of Korea and China, Adam!" "Hello, I'm the moonlit maknae of L.O.V.E. 9, Luna." "Hello, I'm Street Boyz's power maknae, Kouta." "Hello, I'm L.O.V.E. 9's dancing machine, Natty." "Hello, I'm the hot pop and locker of Street Boyz's, T.J." "Hello, I'm L.O.V.E. 9's gymnastic star, Bre." "Hello, I'm Street Boyz's happy virus, Hyun-Joon." "Hello, I'm the beatboxing machine of L.O.V.E. 9, Young-Ki." "Hello, I'm the beatboxing machine of Street Boyz, Bong-Un." "Hello, I'm L.O.V.E. 9's cute and wild, Seoyeon." "Hello, I'm Street Boyz's prince charming, Kwang-soo."

The host were laughing with us because of the funny nicknames our bandmates have. After asking us some brief questions, we got to the random dance challenge. Hyeongdon says, "Since the producers are going to treat the guys to their food, we're treating the girls. Whoever wins the competition will be able to have a second snack with what they want to eat. And they will get the chance to punish the losing team by hitting them with the toy hammer. Tell us what you want to eat."

"Chicken!" both of our groups say. The Jinseok says, "If we beat the girls in the competition, we want to have coffee." "Instead of coffee, I want some green tea," says Hyun-Joon. Luna says, "We want some fruit smoothies." "Five mango. Three strawberry banana. And one peach," Seoyeon says.

"That makes it easier for us and the producers then," Defconn says. Hyeongdon says, "If the boys win, the producers pay for their coffees and tea. But if the girls win, we pay for their fruit smoothies. And everyone can have their chicken." "Music! Start!" they said.

(Minjae POV)

We heard the music to our song "One Shot" being played, and we quickly got into position as the music starts. Luckily for us, we did good, up until the end of the chorus when Kouta accidentally falls down. "Kouta! Kouta!" Hyeongdon says. Defconn picks Kouta up and says, "Why did you mess up?"

"I lost my footing," he says, holding in his laugh with a grin. Hyeongdon takes the toy hammer and hits Kouta in the head. We continued until the girls' song "Magic" started playing. They did really good throughout their dance. After a while, our song "New Life" started playing and we all got into position.

Sadly, we lost to the girls. They all took turns hitting each member of the group with the hammer. Chairs are set out for us, while the staff brings us our chicken and the girl's smoothies. The hosts set up our cards so they can introduce us. Mine and Jaeyeon's cards appear first.

"So as we know, you're fraternal twins," Hyeongdon asks, "which one of you is older?" "That would be me," Jaeyeon says. I say, "I'm shyer compared to my big sis." "He is," Eunhyuk says, "but like Jaeyeon, he's a fantastic leader, and he's loyal and understanding." "Despite your differences, you two seem to have a lot of similarities," Defconn says.

"We're know to be amazing dancers," Jaeyeon and I say. Jaeyeon explains, "We can show you a special dance we did when we were kids." "Well go right ahead," says Defconn. Jaeyeon and I stand up so we can start dancing to "Moon U" by Got7. Luckily, we remember this dance from Eomma's birthday.

After we got finished, everyone claps for us. Defconn then goes to Eunhyuk and asks, "Your real name is Park Eunhyuk, correct?" "Yes it is," Eunhyuk explains, "I'm Street Boyz's main rapper, lead dancer, and vocalist." "You're also a contestant on Show Me The Money," Hyeongdon says, "it's amazing that you were first asked to do that as a trainee."

"I believe that if I make it to the finals or semi-finals," says my best friend, "then people will know how great of a rapper I am." "That I do believe," Hyeongdon says, "Since Mihyung is a contestant on Unpretty Rapster, this will be a good thing for you both." "I'm L.O.V.E. 9's main rapper and dancer, so I hope I do great on Unpretty Rapstar, too," explains Mihyung.

After everyone talks about themselves to the hosts, we got to the phone calls from our fans. "Annyeonghaseyo! My name Seo-Kyung! My question is for Jaeyeon and Minjae. Could they do dances by different groups?" "We most certainly can," I said. Jaeyeon says, "We do all sorts of groups. Boy and girl groups. Dance crews. Soloists. All kinds."

"Let's make this interesting," Defconn says. Hyeongdon says, "How about Jaeyeon does a boy group dance, Minjae does a girl group dance, and then you both join in for a random group dance." "Ne," we said. Jaeyeon goes up first, and does the dance to "The Eve" by EXO. Then I do Blackpink's "Boombayah". We then do a dance to "Bad" by Infinite.

Everyone cheers for us. Some of our group members even do other group's dances too. Then, after a few questions and statements, we end the episode and go back to the dorm.

(next week, Jaeyeon POV)

At the dorm, we decided to go to the lounge room to watch our episode of Weekly Idol together. Luckily there was a TV and a couple of couches for us to sit on. And we even had snacks and drinks. We laughed at some of the segments we did together.

Appa, Eomma, and Uncle Youngjae enter the lounge room. "What are you guys doing?" Eomma asks. I said, "We're watching our episode of Weekly Idol before we have to practice for our performance on Simply Kpop tomorrow." "Adam and I are guest hosts for Simply Kpop since we speak fluent English," Jewel explains.

Appa says, "We're watching with your uncles. We came to get some snacks." "Go on ahead Appa," Minjae says.  They get their stuff, and Uncle Youngjae says, "See you guys later," and left the lounge room. We went back to watching. Doing reality shows is more fun than I ever imagined. I can't wait until we do After School Club the day after tomorrow.
