BLANK SLATE CHARACTERS
You can't convince me that your character got the attention of a super awesome guy or girl by being literally a blank slate. I see too many characters with no personality I'll give an example of a few flaws and strengths in my characters that gives them personality
Flaws
Kiumi- manipulative and selfish
Yukari- forgetful and naive
Nina- easily distracted and sensitive
Strengths
Kiumi: Charismatic and humorous
Yukari: Selfless and Loyal
Nina: Creative and Obedient
Now notice how the flaws reveal more about the character then the strengths. How shallow would it be if they only had strengths? Those don't reveal much about a character, the flaws in a character are very important without them they'd be..

No personality will lead to a very boring and uninteresting character..
