How to NOT do ships:
• I guess I'll start off with the ship's that happen wayyyyy too fast. One rp had these characters flirting with eachother at a party. Pretty normally right? Yeah then they went skinny dipping together and then had s*x. Okay, one night stands. Whatever, that's weird to rp but it happens.
The chick gets pregnant and now they'rr in a happy loving relationship???
Righttt. Well anyways relationships don't just happen. You don't just have one conversation with someone and now you're soulmates.
• Also some people will actually get upset if an oc decides to break up with theirs. And then they'll get jealous if the oc dates someone else and will be passive aggressive for the rest of the rp or try to ship-block. That annoys the fuck out of me cause neither of the ocs belong to you and you want to control them? Yeah, uh. Fuck off.
• The toxic relationships that people try to normalize in order to "Keep the ship going!!" If a ship is toxic it needs to be treated like that. Don't have your ocs threaten suicide if my oc tries to break up with them and then be surprised when my oc isn't happy in that relationship. It isn't just one ocs fault either most relationships are just toxic because those ocs just don't fit together. It doesn't mean your oc is evil or anything so stop trying to cling to a sinking ship.
• Ocs that lose their personality in a relationship. Like. Do I even need to elaborate? It's basically being cat fished. Jk jk... Unless?
