Species Powers: Altraz are telekinetic; almost seeming to be the polar opposite of Feathered Kabayos.

Creation: Tirion, during his raise to power, simply decided he was in need of steeds for his army and his followers. And so, drawing upon the dark powers from the Shadow Realm, he transported a new, god-species named Altraz into the living realms. Before this, Altraz simply existed. As old as the Shadow Realm itself, their species doesn't have a beginning or an end- for time is nonexistent.

Age: In the Shadow Realm, Altraz are as old as time. Sometimes ones that have been around for a very long time will just vanish from the realm- leaving a gap for a new, 'younger' Altraz to make way. However, in the physical realms (Earth, IIM, Droor, etc), Altraz live for only a few years. They are ripped from the Shadow Realm at their current age and live throughout the rest of their days on the Psychical realms until age overtakes them.

Purpose: In the Shadow Realm, Altraz just sort of... decided to sophisticate themselves. They have a massive clan- four rulers (like a council), a pair of 'medics', and the rest are 'civilians'. Unlike other clans, herds, or packs, Altraz have no need for ranks such as warrior, apprentice, seer, etc. The medics will sometimes undertake an apprentice, however it is not likely. On the Physical Realms, Altraz serve Lord Tirion in his conquest of power as loyal steeds for travel and battle. Some get lost wandering Physical Realms- away from Tirion and his Horde.

Personalities: Altraz are not evil, but they're more psychopathic. Being emotionless, they don't really have a sense of this over that. Usually, it's just what gives them personal gain. Serving Tirion ensures that they eventually get to go home to the Shadow Realm- as when an Altraz dies they are returned to their home and possibly 'reborn'. Altraz are very loyal beasts.

Traits: Altraz only really resemble parts of pre-existing animals. Their most unique trait is their size- averaging fifteen feet tall each. Most Altraz pick up skulls of creatures, wearing them to sport their power. Some will collect skulls and keep bags or necklaces of their collections. However, usually, the skulls they choose are then bound to their bottom jaws, creating more of a full head than just a skull mask. Their mandibles are also a highly identifiable trait- as well as their many different crests. They have hooves- not cloven- and can have any length or style tail. Their bodies are mostly varying lengths of fur but bald spots aren't impossible. Although these beasts cannot be man-made, sometimes they will have mutations such as: drippy fused skulls, wings, extra mandibles, extra limbs, tails, multiple crests, horns, major spikes, and minor scales along the body.
