Resurrection

"I'm Pink Diamond." She says. I gasp and walk backwards. "H-how? I thought you were shattered! I saw you get shattered and Yellow picked up your shards, and-" I say before she covers my mouth. "I'll explain that later. Come on. We need to defeat Red." She instructs. I start to lead us towards the building with the meeting room.

Once we get there, we all sit down. I sit next to Snow as Pink sits at the end of the table. "Okay. First things first. I didn't know you guys could fuse. That was crazy." I say to Blue. He just smiles. Obsidian looks at Ametrine with a salty look, "Yeah. Their fusion was cool, but Citrine here didn't want to fuse with me. I tried to tell her it would make it easier, but-" he stops because of Citrine looking at him. "Ew. Who would want to fuse with you?" She insults him. He just looks at her, then back to us. "Whatever." He says, defeated.

I look over to Pink, who is just thinking. "Secondly, Pink Diamond is back. She was never dead. Pleas explain." I beg. She just looks at me, then sighs, "Fine. I'll tell you. I was poofed by my pearl. She shape shifted into Rose Quartz and poofed me. She kept my diamond and left fake shards in my place." she says.

I just sit there and cry. "But why? You had a whole planet to protect. You had gems. You had humans. Why pretend to die?" I ask her, almost yelling. She starts to get tears in her eyes. I immediately feel bad.

"It's okay. I'm not crying because of you. I'm crying because of why I did fake my death. I did it because of what the other diamonds were doing. I loved the humans. I couldn't stand to even hear about their plans for Earth. They were gonna kill all humans." She says through tears.

"I couldn't let that happen, so I faked my own shattering. I had my pearl shape shift into Rose and her poof me." She explains. I just sit there, trying to decipher what she had just explained. "Wait. What did Rose have to say about this?" I ask her.

Her eyes widen and she sits back. "She was never real." She states quietly. I lean closer to her. "What do you mean she was never real?" I say in a demanding voice. "I'm confused." Snow says. "What I mean by that is...I was Rose Quartz the whole time. I rotated my diamond to look exactly like the gem of a Rose Quartz. That's why her gem was on her stomach." She says.

I stand up and look at her in the eyes. "WHAT!?" I angrily say. She just flinches a little. "Look. I'm sorry. I couldn't let anyone know." She says. I just back up and sit back down. "I'm sorry I yelled, but you lied to the Diamonds. Yeah, I may not like them, but you were one of them." I explain. She just nods.

"I know. But...part of this is true. I was gone for a while." She says. I look at her with confused eyes. "What do you mean?" I ask her. "I mean, I loved someone. Someone enough to marry them. I was thinking about...possibly having a child with him. " She says. I look at her in shock. "What do you mean? Who is he?" I ask her. She hands me a picture of him. "His name is Greg." She says.

I take a close look at his face. "Was he nice?" I ask. "Yeah. He really was. I met him while I was in the form of Rose. Although, I don't think I told him about me being Pink Diamond. I was planning on telling him, but gave up." She says.

"Let me see that." Snow says. I give it to him and he examines it closely. "Why do I feel like I know him?" He asks himself. Then, Blue snatched the picture out of Snow's hand. "Oh my god. This is the guy who helped us when we were on Earth. I didn't think he was the husband of Pink Diamond!" He says.

After she explains everything, we all leave and head outside. Out of nowhere, we hear a gunshot and wait to get shattered by the weapon, but only hear it make impact with something above us. We look up to see a pink shield with a diamond in the middle of it. Pink is holding it in place while it is in the air.

"Hahaha. You really think you can use that shield to-" Red stops abruptly. Pink had lowered the shield and was now standing there, looking up at her. "PINK!? She screams. "I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONE FOR GOOD! I THOUGHT YOU-" she stops abruptly by Pink speaking.

"Oh. The plan you made to shatter me?! Yeah. That didn't work out as much as you thought. Your little tank couldn't defeat me." She says. Then, we all see a gem with robitic appendages on his hands. I fly up into the air to get a better look at him. I then realize I knew him and I knew him well. "Hello Tank." I snarl. "Well, if it isn't Fire Opal. Been a while, huh? I've missed you." He says, sarcastically. I just look at him angrily.

"Leave now." I demand him. He just walks away without a word. "Well okay then." Snow says. "Well. Even though Pink is back, you still can't beat me." Red states. Pink just looks up at her. "I'm done hearing your mouth." Pink says. Suddenly, she creates a wall of thorn covered vines. It flies into the air and wraps around Red's ship. "Have fun with that." She says.

We start to walk towards Pink's castle. Well, where it used to be. The other diamonds had destroyed it once they found out she had been "shattered." Once we get there, she creates a image from her gem of what the castle looked like. "It was a beautiful castle. The only one like it." She says. Then, we see a red figure walk through the image. "Hi Blue." He says. I look at Blue. "He's on our team. Guys, meet Pyro."
