Weakness

"What am I gonna do?" I ask in a fearful voice. "I've spent my whole life with him." I say to the others. "You don't need that bitch. If he's gonna leave you because you spared someone's life, then you don't need him." Blue retaliates. I look at him and nod my head. Then I start crying again.

As I'm sobbing, I hear something above us. I don't really have the energy to look up until I hear a loud bang. When I do look, it is only to see Tank and Red Diamond. "Awww, did someone lose their boyfriend?" Red says sarcastically. "It's a shame that you won't have anyone to help you." I look up at her and my eyes turn a bright red.

"Leave now. I'm not gonna sit here and listen to all of your bullshit." I tell her. "He's not in the best emotional state to fight." Verdelite says. Red just scoffs. "Do you really think that's gonna stop me. You have been the only people to ever stop me." She says. Her voice lowers. "And it won't happen again." She growls.

She holds her hand up and summons five corrupted gems and Tank walks next to them as they start to charge at us. Blue and Verdelite form Chrysoprase and run in the front. Out of reflex, my hand reaches to my side to grab Snow's, but when I feel nothing, I remember what I was just crying about.

"Well, it's up to me." I say to myself and fly towards the battle. "BLUE!" I yell. He turns around and holds his hands up. I land and immediately break into a sprint and jump off of his hands. I land right in the middle of the battle and create a powerful ring of fire that grows then dissipates.

I fly and kick Tank right on his chest. He slides across the ground and then breaks into a sprint...with his hands. He boosts into the air and I meet him halfway. He swings around and tries to hit me with his hands while I dodge and try to stab him. I fly backwards and launch my sickle towards him. He simply just holds up his limb enhancer hands and blocks it. While he does that, I am flying towards him.

My hair turns a bright white and it goes down my body and fades into a deep blue. I make fire in my hands and it engulfs my whole body. I shoot fire at him and it hits him, causing him to fall to the ground. I float to the ground as he hits the ground hard. "Why. Why are you and her so infatuated with KILLING ME!" I ask him. "She is trying to take over Homeworld. With you and the other Diamonds dead, it will be a piece of cake." He responds.

I hold my sickle up to his gem and get really close to his face. "You can tell her that her operation isn't gonna be as easy as she thinks." I growl. He stands up with his hands and walks away. We had defeated the corrupted gems and Red was now outnumbered by 7 gems and 2 diamonds.

"You win today. Next time though, it won't be nearly as easy." She says. She turns on her heels and kicks up some of the dry dirt we were on. Tank just smirks and follows her.

"Opal." Blue says. I thought it was gonna be an apology, but my mind went to much worse for some terrible reason. "Didn't you used to be in her court?" He asks. "Yeah." I respond. "You might know what could possibly make her weak. Like a certain person or object." He says.

I start to think. What could make that monster of a diamond weak? Then, it hit me. There was one person who almost made Red Diamond weak at her knees. "There is...one gem. But getting to him will be very difficult." I say. "Where is this gem?" Blue asks. "Earth." I respond.

Black's eyes widen. She immediately holds up her hand, and a very large, black hand ship comes from the dark sky. "Get in. We're going to Earth." Black says once it lands.

As we are flying through space, I'm sitting in the back of the ship, just remembering that Snow wasn't with us. I sigh loudly and lay down on the floor.
My hair flips over my face as I think about just going to sleep.

Then, just as I start to drift off, the ship comes to a sudden fault and I slide across the hard metal floor. "We're here." Pyro says. "Yeah, I got the memo." I say sassily. I stand up and we walk out of the ship. "So...do you know where to find this gem?" Black asks. "I think she takes refuge in a little place called Beach City." I tell them.

Pink's eyes widen and her mouth drops into an o shape. "What does this gem have to do with Red?" Black asks. "She is an old friend of Red's. Before Red became evil." I tell her. Pink runs up to the ship control and starts to fly the ship. "What are you doing?" Black asks. "I know exactly where Beach City is. I'm taking us there." She says.

When we finally land in Beach City, there is a beautiful array of colors dancing through the sky. My eyes grow wide as I stare at the colors. I turn around to see the others walking away. "Now. I don't actually know if this will work, but I have another idea if it doesn't." I tell them. They nod and keep walking.

We find a giant temple on the beach. I run inside and am greeted by three Clear Quartz holding weapons at me. "NAME NOW!" One says. "I'm a Fire Opal from Homeworld. I mean no harm." I say. They lower their weapons, then notice Pink. "Oh! Our Diamond. Come in." They say while saluting.

We walk in as I look for the gem I was looking for. "Where is the other Quartz?" I ask. "Who are you tal-" They start to ask. "Oooh. You must be mistaken. She is not a Quartz, she just wishes she was. She's a simple human." One says. "Oh, and she died." Another says. "My eyes widen when I realize what she said.

Then, I hear a low rumble. "It's Red. She's here." I say while on the verge of bursting from anger. I turn around and kick a door open and walk outside. I am greeted with three corrupted gems. "You. Can't. Run."
