Blue Pearl stands in the hourglass with his axe in hand. He has swung at the glass for almost an hour now, only getting more tired the longer he tried. Every time he tried to cut the glass, the sand fell just a little faster. By the time it is completely filled up, he will start to slowly be crushed. The sand in that hourglass can destroy the physical form of a gem and, if left in there long enough, eventually shatter them gem.
Aquamarine was worried sick, pacing back and forth repeating, "We need to save him." The same thing had been going through my mind for hours. "Desert storm said something about an owner. He has never had an owner has he?" I ask, waiting. Then, I watch as Citrine's eyes go wide. "He did have an owner. Lapis Lazuli. French accent. I've seen him before. He has tried to kidnap Blue before to get him back." Citrine explains quickly.
My eyes go wide with hope. "Where could he be now?" I ask. She starts running back to Blue with no word. We all follow until we get to him. "Where is your old owner?" I ask frantically. He starts to think quickly, trying to remember where he could possibly be. "Try Blue Diamond's castle. He may be there." He says. I grab who I need and start flying towards her castle.
As we near the castle, Alexandrite summons four ring swords and hold two in each hand. I get close to the ground and drop them. I fly into the throne room window and land on the ground. "Oh... hi Opal," She greets, confused.
"Hello, Blue. Is there a Lapis Lazul in your castle?" I ask. She looks around, thinking.
"Yes. He's downstairs. LAPIS LAZUL!" She yells. Lapis flies up the stairs and solutes her.
"Yes my di-" He solutes, stopping when he spotted me.
"Well hello, Opal. I heard about you and your little Snowflake friend. How are you feeling?" He says snarkily.
My hands ball up to suppress my anger. "That's none of your business. Do you know anything about the Blue Pearl situation that's going on right now?" I ask him. He smirks and leans against the wall.
"Aww, does he miss me?" He grins. I roll my eyes and look at him.
"No. He's trapped in an hourglass and Desert Storm says that he 'has an owner to get back to."' I explain. His eyes widen when I say Desert Storm.
"She better not touch him." He practically yells. By now, everyone else was beside me and watching him.
"I think you're the one who misses him." I chuckle. He blushes slightly and looks away.
"N-no. I vowed to protect him, so I'm gonna keep my promise." He lies. I laugh.
"Well, if you want to protect him, you're going to need to do some acting. Desert Storm won't let him out if she knows we sent you." I tell him. He nods his head and flies outside to the others as I follow behind. We all fly back to where Desert Storm is holding Blue. Lapis runs up to the glass and looks at Blue.
"Oh no are you okay?" he asks worriedly. Blue just rolls his eyes and nods.
Desert Storm flies up to us. "So you found his owner? See how much Lapis missed him. How dare you keep them separated from each other you evil beings," She remarks while smirking. I just give her an unamused look.
"Listen, we got you his owner. We know that's what you wanted. To see his owner. Now let him go." I demand, stepping closer to her as I do. She ponders for a minute, considering her options.
"You know what...no." She smirks as she flies back to the hourglass, hovering above it as the sand starts to fall faster by her demand.Blue looks up and starts to panic. My fists ball up in anger as I grab Obsidian and pull him along with me. My body goes white as my right fist connects with the glass, instantly causing a small crack.
"That's not possible. How did you do that?" She panics. Lapis draws his whip and wraps it around the center of the glass, pulling it up into the air and throwing it back down. Obsidian draws his bow and fires multiple shots into the ground, using double sided arrows. Pyrope summons his katars and throws it at the glass. With all of this combined, the glass hits the ground and shatters, vaporizing into tiny particles.
Desert Storm watches with pure rage on her face as I fly over to Blue and hold him while he catches his breath from the panic and adrenaline.
"That- that's impossible. That glass should have been indestructible." Desert Storm explains.
I look at her and stand up, saying, "Just face it. You lost. You always lose." This gets her boiling. She flies into the air and flies away, the wind picking up quickly as she goes by. I stand Blue up and pull him into a hug. Lapis starts to walk towards us when Blue scoots away from him.
"Blue please," he pleads with Blue. Blue just looks at him and shakes his head no.
"You really hurt me. Even after apologizing, you continued to hurt me. There is no coming back from that." Blue explains. Lapis just nods and flies away.

It has been a few months since the hourglass situation. It's been kind of calm since it all happened. The Diamonds have been lying dormant and probably planning their next attack.
I still haven't seen Snowflake. It is really starting to worry me and I wish he never ran away from us.
I guess it's just best to let go...

So I'm back... I'm sorry ive been gone for so many months. I didn't have any motivation to write and I also had writer's block the entire time. I know i just came back but the rest of this story is going to get a hole lot crazier. It shouldn't be much longer until I publish the next part...
But I didn't say it was the exact same story...
