Jin's POV

I reached out my hand for Jimin who's kneeling in front of me and rest my head on his shoulder as our ending pose for Spring Day.

We're both catching our breath due to the intense choreography.

We did it. We've completed our performance as flawless as possible and I can hear the cheers and applause from the audience who enjoyed it.

I felt a sense of pride when I saw the happiness in the crowd's faces as we bowed to them.

I showered them with hand kisses which caused the audience to go crazy.

We went to our dressing room to change into a suit. Since this is a big competition, we have the privilege to get dressing rooms but at least 2-3 members have to share. Of course, Tae and I volunteered to be in the same dressing room.

There will be an awarding ceremony after the performances and we have a chance to mingle with everyone. We want to look presentable for the PD's from entertainment companies that attended the competition.

"Ya" Tae wrapped his arms protectively around my waist and pouted when we entered the dressing room. "Don't make them fall for you harder"

"Don't be jealous" I pinched his cheeks.

"They can have my hand kisses but this is only for you" I lowered my head to kiss Taehyung's lips.

I closed my eyes to completely feel the fullness of his lips against mine.

"You're too sweet" I murmured and deepened the kiss. My hands started to roam around Tae's body as we explored each other's mouth. I slid my hand inside his shirt to feel the skin on his back under my fingertips.

I stopped kissing him when I felt a uneven surface on his back. I knew Tae didn't have any scar on his body.

"What happened to your back" I asked while I'm catching my breath.

Tae stiffened when he realized where I'm touching. His face darkened and his eyes lost the ecstacy he's feeling a minute ago.

I almost lost my balance when he suddenly pushed me away. "It's nothing"

"Let me see it" I tried to take off his shirt but Taehyung gripped my arms tight.

"Please don't" There's a desperation on his voice. He looked like he's in pain.

"Okay, I won't, but please tell me where you got that scar. Are you in pain?" I cupped Tae's cheeks to meet his eyes but I can see that he's not really looking at me right now. He has that lost look on his handsome face.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry"

He's doing it again.

I hugged him tight while I'm stroking his hair. "Shh..Don't be sorry. I'm just worried about you"

"It hurts" Tae whispered and choked a sob.

"Where?"

Tae did not respond but his body trembled.

"Taehyungie. Look at me" He have to snap out of it.

"Taehyungie!" I shouted and his eyes widened when he finally came back to his senses.

Taehyung's POV

My hands are still shaking as I buttoned my coat. I took deep breath to calm my nerves.

I'm perfectly fine physically but my heart and mind still remembers the pain which made the scars on my back burn.

"..you're too perfect"

I tried to push the memories out of my mind.

When I came out of the dressing room, I saw Jin waiting for me.

"Let's go" I said quietly while avoiding his eyes. It is best to act as if nothing happened.

Jin smiled and held my hand but he didn't say anything.

When we joined our members, they teased us because our hands are still intertwined.

Jimin nudged me when I sat beside him.

"Are you two back together?" he whispered but I just smiled as an answer.

I'm still shaken because of what happened in the dressing room.

When I glanced at Jin, he's already looking intently at me.

I lowered my gaze while my heart ached.

I know I'm being selfish but..I would do anything so that I can stay beside Jin while keeping my scars hidden.
