Nightmares

Taehyung's POV

I saw myself kneeling on the floor. I was wearing a velvet robe which barely covered my naked back. Two long scars can be seen and it looked like wings have been cut from its roots.

I shuddered when I looked up and saw Jin standing behind me. He's looking at me with pure disgust.

When he turned his back, I tried to grab his arm to stop him from leaving but I'm tied up.

Jin's POV

"Don't..please.."

"Tae, wake up" He had a nightmare..again.

I noticed it when he started to sleep in my apartment.

I cupped Taehyung's cheeks and kissed his temple to calm him down.

"Jin.."

I stiffened when I heard my name. What is he dreaming about?

I checked if Taehyung is awake but his eyes are shut. He have beads of sweat on his forehead.

"Tae"

"Don't leave me..please" he mumbled in his sleep.

"I will never leave you" I assured him while stroking Taehyung's hair to comfort him. If he can't tell me his worries when he's awake, at least in this way I can ease his troubles.

Tae's expression slowly relaxed and his breathing became even.

I snuggled closer to him.

"I love you Taehyungie. I won't lose you again" I promised before I let sleep take over.

"Get up sleepyhead"

Our school gave us one week break as our reward for winning the competition, so Tae and I are here in my apartment sleeping or doing nothing.

The other members are also making most of our short break. I heard that Yoongi and Jiminie came to Busan to meet Jimin's parents.

Joonie and Hoseok recently announced that they are dating while Jungkook took his family out for a vacation in Jeju Island.

"I want to sleep more Jinie" Taehyung groaned and snuggled his pillow more.

I joined him on my bed to tackle him in a hug. I rubbed my nose on the crook of his neck to tickle him.

I've been thinking about Namjoon's advice and since I can't find the courage to ask Taehyung about his secrets yet, I decided to show him what I feel in my own way. Maybe he'll open up to me when he's ready.

"Let's go out"

"Where?" Taehyung rubbed his sleepy eyes and yawn.

"Have a date with me"

Taehyung eyes widened. "A-a date?"

I nodded.

Taehyung suddenly tackled me in a hug and gave me a quick kiss.

"Are you sure you want to spend your vacation with me?"

"I'm already spending it with you Pabo" I flicked his forehead gently.

"Oh, that's right" Taehyung giggled.

My heart swelled with happiness. It's been days since I last saw him laugh. These past few days, Taehyung became quiet and rarely smiles. When he do, it never reached his eyes.

I patted his butt. "Go and prepare now"

He excitedly nodded and took a shower.

While Taehyung is in the shower, I went to the kitchen to prepare our breakfast. I just finished designing the omelette when I felt Taehyung's sturdy arms wrapped around my waist.

"J 💜 T?"

I blushed. I know it is silly but..."It's cute right?" I pouted.

Taehyung laughed and nodded. He took the ketchup from me and wrote "T 💜 J" on my omelette.

"Taehyungie loves Jinie so much" he smiled and gave me the omelette.

I buried my face on his chest while I'm calming my heart.

"Jinnie loves Taehyungie more than he know" I mumbled.

Tae cupped my chin to meet his eyes. "I love you more than you can imagine"

I smiled as I felt the sincerity with each word.
