Bryan's hand reached for the trim of my shirt and pulled it over my head. I pulled him back in for a kiss and let my tongue explore his mouth.

He lifted me up and I subconsciously wrapped my legs around his waist. He kissed down my neck forcing me to moan aloud.

He walked back until he sat on the bed with me straddling him. I snapped into what was actually happening and stopped.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

"No, I shouldn't have let it gotten that far. We came up here to talk and just got carried away." I got off him and sat in the middle of the bed.

It was quiet for oddly a long time.

"Michele.." He said softly. "Help me understand you. I thought we knew everything about each other, I thought everything was out in the air. I missed something, so tell me." His back was turned to me but I knew he was upset.

"It was my fault, I sa–"

He turned around and looked me dead in the eye, "It wasn't. I assumed you were using me, babe. I am supposed to be the only one feeling bad. I need you to tell me why you feel the way you do. Please."

I brought my knees up to my chin and laid my face in between them.

"My mother used to do it. She'd submit to my father and give up herself to him to please him and make him not be upset with her. After that, he'd fuck her. Almost senselessly and mercilessly..."

"You thought I wanted that?" He asked.

"You got loud. It subconsciously brought me back to that time and I did the only thing that I knew. Trust me, I hate that that happened. I felt stupid and still do. I'm sorry."

He sighed and came closer to me on the bed. He opened his arms to me and I hesitated. But I went.
Something in me missed his touch.

I laid my head in his chest and just let his cologne take me.

"Mich, I don't want you to feel bad. I, also, apologize for getting loud with you, I know you are sensitive with that. And for making such an awful assumption about you. I don't deserve you." He lowly said.

He ran his hands down to my waist and held onto me. "I would never ask you to submit yourself to me, that's not the kind of guy I am." He said.

"I know."

"Is that all? Baby, I want you to talk to me." He begged.

"I just still feel stupid for doing it and going a month harboring on it." I said lowly.

He pulled out my left hand and began twisting the promise ring he gave me, "Wanna hear something crazy?" He asked. I nodded.

"I've been looking at some rings, better rings. I think I might change this one sooner than later." I shot up off his chest and smiled.

"Like... engagement rings?"

"Like engagement rings." He assured, "But, I'm still waiting until the perfect time."

I smiled and kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry, too. Can we try this all over again?" He asked shining that million dollar smile. "Hey, I'm Bryan." He joked.

"Toni, but I heard people like to call me Michele more. Your pick."

He leaned in and slowly kissed me, as I kissed back. "I love Michele." He said in our kiss. I caressed his cheek and pulled out of the kiss. "You think we have time for a quickie?" I asked biting down on my lip.

He smirked and laid me down. "Hell yeah."

We were all finally eating dinner and listening to Jet go on and on about her new little friend. "He said that I'm beautiful and one day we're gonna get married." She gushed. I let out an 'awe'. Puppy love is truly the most innocent and pure form of love.

"Just tell him that I said if he breaks your heart, I'll fuck him up." Bryan said unamused. I snapped my head at him, "Didn't you tell her she should go for it?" I asked followed by a chuckle.

"That don't mean I don't get to snap him in half if he hurts her." He shrugged, "Tell him, I got more guns than he got years on him, I'll pop his lil' ass." Jet slowly nodded as me, Roe, and Tamar laughed.

I know he is serious, too, that's the crazy part. "You girls gotta hit the hay early tonight, this morning felt like dragging the devils out of beds." I said before fulling my mouth of food.

"You just want do nasty things... Nasty." Monroe sneered. "With ya' boyfriend. Tsk tsk. How inappropriate, mother." Jet added.

"First off, he's basically my husband. Second, grown people do the deed to fulfill the need." I shrugged. "And don't y'all always complain about having no younger sibling, you never know what might happen."

"Wait, y'all tryna have a baby?" Tamar asked.

"Not necessarily but I wouldn't mind it." I said rather lowly.

"I been told Michele to have my kids. We waiting on her watch." Bryan said below his breath. I glared his way and decided to save the conversation until later with only us.

"Well, anyway. Girls, bed, now." I commanded. They kissed us all and headed upstairs. "Baby, are you staying the night or..."

He looked up from his food and had a mouth full of food. He quickly swallowed it before speaking, "I was going to stay for dessert but I think I should head home. Unless you want me to stay." He smirked.

I looked at Tamar who was mouthing to me to tell him to stay. "I'll be fine, sweetheart. Thank you, though. I'll walk you out." I said seeing his plate emptied now.

"Monster, can you start clearing the table until I come back?" She nodded and shoed us out the kitchen.

We walked out hand in hand to his car. He gently pushed me up against the car and leaned in to kiss me. I placed my hand on his chest before our lips connected. "All you think about is kissing me, huh?"

He chuckled, "Babygirl, we've been separated for a month. I can't help but miss you and having sex with you." I laughed and kissed him anyway.

"Well we can get to that another night. Go home and I'll call you in the morning." I said moving from his car. "I love you."

"I love you, too."
