Your P.O.V

The next morning I woke up to someone shacking me. "Y/N it's time to eat, get up." I slowly opned my eyes and saw Newt standing over me.

I smiled at him and got up. I told him I was going to get dressed. "I'll wait for you outside." I got dressed in one of the outfits they sent up.

I walked with Newt to the kitchen and we walked over to a man. He gave me a plate and smiled. "Who is that?". Newt looked over and talked "That's Frypan. He's the keeper of the cook's."

After we ate I went and tried jobs. The first one was builder. I was good at it but I couldn't handle putting up with Gally and his sour aditude. Next part of the day was working with Newt and the track-hoes.

I walked over and saw Newt chopping at a log. I decided to sneak up on him and when I did he jumped and almost took my head off. "Y/N! Bloody hell I could have killed you." I just smiled and hugged him. "Sorry Newtie."

I helped Newt all day that day and then went and ate dinner with him. We say and talked about all the other jobs I still had to try. I was going to try med-jack, slicer, and gardener tomorrow and then help Frypan the day after.

Newt and I have been getting along great. We started to hang out more and more and I started to have stronger feelings for him. I noticed that when ever I'm around him he can always make me laugh and smile.  He's my best friend and always will be.

One day after all of the diffrent jobs I've tried it was time to have a gathering ro decide what I would be. I knew I either wanted to be a med-jack or a track-hoe. I was wondering around the glad with Newt thinking about my choices.

When it was time for the gathering we all entered the building and waited for Alby to get there. While we were waiting I finally maid up my mind. When Alby walked in he called the meeting to order.

"Y/N what job have you chose?" Alby asked me. Everyone looked at me and listened. "Well I would like to be both a med-jack and a track-hoe. I will be a track-hoe most of the week and work with the med-jacks the rest of the week." Alby just nodded his head and he agreed with me.

After the meeting was over Newt and I went to the watch tower. We climbed up it and looked at the darkness of the night. We just sat in silence enjoying the peace and quit. I then looked over to Newt who had his hand on the board next to mine.

I thought to myself if I grabbed his hand maybe he felt the same way, or maybe he would be creeped out. But I also thought if I didn't take his hand I would never no. So I used all the guts I had and decided to take him hand. He looked over at me and then smiled.

"Newt I never got to thank you." He just looked at me confused. "What do you mean Y/N?" I smiled at him and took both of his hands. " What I'm saying is thank you for being a good friend and showing me around." He just smiled at me and leaned his head on my shoulder.

I looked down and him and he look up at me. Then he did the most unexpected thing. He kissed me. It wasn't a rough kiss it was more like a sweet and passionate one. I slowly melted into it. After a little while I broke off for air. I looked over at him and smiled.

"Sorry." He said running his hand threw his hair. "Don't be sorry. That was the best kiss I've ever had. Of course I don't remember but it was amazing." We just smiled at each other and connect our lips. This time when he broke the kiss he asked me a queation.

"Does this mean we are together?" I just smiled and kissed his cheek. "Yes, yes it does."
