You're P.O.V

I was hiding in the hut with Y/S. I was rocking him and holding him to make sure he doesn't cry. I was worried about Newt and hopped that he would be ok.

That's when I heard the noise I never wanted to hear. The low clicking sound of griver.

I held Y/S close to my chest in a effort to make sure he stayed quit. It felt like hours even tho it was only minutes. Then all the sudden the roof was ripped off and I ran out of the hut to see about twenty of them.

I ran as fast as I could and hid in the deadheads. I gently rocked him in my arms to make sure he wouldn't start crying. All I hoped is that Newt would be ok. I had a knife in the pocket of my jeans so I rested one hand on it ready to do anything to protect my son from any harm.

Newt's P.OV.

I was fighting off a griver and trying to help Alby when it's stinger came through the roof and stung him. I let out a loud scream and went after him. But it was to late, Alby was gone. I screamed his name and then I feel to my knees swearing I would kill all the grivers that came anywhere near me.

I was ready to go fight to risk it all but then I remember Y/N. I ran out of the hut despite what everyone else was telling me. I dodged the grivers and ran towards are hut. When I got there I saw the roof was off so I flung the door open and look around. I couldn't find her any where so is started to panic.

I ran outside and looked around. That's when I saw the outline of something in the deadheads so I limped as fast and quietly as I could to get to them. When I got there I noticed it was Y/N and she was holding Y/S. I got down and pulled them into my arms and I waited with them.

A couple minutes latter I hear the sound of the bushes moving and being torn apart. I turn to Y/N and whisper "run further into the woods and don't look back"

She does as I say and runs and I look back and see the stinger of one. I pull out my knife and cut the stinger off. It made a loud noise that sounded like a grind and a hiss. Then it ran back to the main part of the glade.

After about and hour of fighting in the glade all the grivers ran out and back into the maze.

Y/N P.O.V

Newt told us to run into the woods so I did. As I held Y/S close I could here the screams of all the other gladers and I looked up and said a silent prayer that Newt would be ok.

After an hour I heard a noise come from the grass. I pulled out my knife and held Y/S close to my chest and git ready to fight. Then Newt popped out of the trees and when I saw him I dropped the k Ife and ran into his arms crying. I held onto him and we rocked back in forth. I was happy he was safe

"I'm so glad your safe baby." I said nuzzling my face into his neck. He ran his fingers through my hair and kisses my head. "I'm right here love. I'm not going anywhere. At least not without you or Y/S." Newt kissed the babies head and we walked back to the glade to see the damage done to the glade.

It was really bad. Everything was broke except for a couple little hut's and buildings. Ours was still standing but it had no roof but that didn't matter to us right now. Newt and I walked into our hut and put the baby down and he held me tight in his arms. And whispers in my ear over and over again "I love you."

As I stood in his arms I whispered the same thing back "I love you."

Hey guys sorry it's been so long since you had a proper update. So much has been going on and I just haven't had time. Good news is my arm is almost 100% healed up. So updates should become sooner. Thank you for all of those who have stuck by me from the begging. Love you all so much
