The next morning I woke up. I was wrapped in Newt's arms. Y/S was still sleeping. I smiled cause this has been one of the only peaceful moments in my life recently. I looked out the window to see the sun rising. I smiled and cuddled into him. He started to wake up. He stretched and smiled kissing my head. "Good morning love."

I smiled and kissed him. "How did you sleep?"

"It was ok. I've definitely slept better." He said

We got up and decided to pack our bags before Y/S got up. We but all of his clothes and items in there then we packed our stuff. I gently grabbed Y/S and put him in the baby pack. Newt and I walked out of our hut for the last time. We were holding hands and walked to the others.

"Ok you guys. The plan is to use this device to get out of the Maze. We need to find the door and get out." Thomas said

We all nodded and headed out of the gates for the last time. We ran through the maze trying to find the section we needed to be at. Then out of no where three grievers came around the corner and they started to chase us. We split up and started to run. I ran and found a spot to hide. The greiver slowed down but kept going. But Y/S started to cry. I tried to shush him but it wouldn't work so I let him suck me thumb. Then I didn't hear anything so I let out a sigh of relief but the the vines were ripped back and there was a greiver. I was cornered, I closed my eyes thinking that this was the end till I heard

"Not my family you shank." As Newt threw a spear at it. It turned towards him and chased after him but me and Y/S were able to get away. Newt caught up to the rest of us and we went through the section and came out a door. We walked down the hallway and went into a room where there were a load of dead bodies. We walked around looking at everything and then Thomas pressed a button and a video started to play. We watched in horror at what has happened to the world. I looked at Newt

"Why can't be just raise a baby in a nice place. The world just had to be taken over by the flare." I said huffing

"Love just be glad we don't have to deal with the greivers anymore." Newt said wrapping his arms around me.

"Yeah but know we have to deal with cranks."

All the sudden we look up and there's Gally. He looked like he had been stung. But he had a gun in his hand and had it pointed at Thomas

"Gally we're out, we're free." Thomas

"You think we're free?" Gally said

"Gally please put the gun down. We can talk about this." I said taking a step closer to him.

He moved the gun and pointed it to my head. "Shut up Y/N. Maybe i should just pull the trigger on you. After all we we're a real family before you came. You just had to fall in love and have a baby with Newt. Your the reason Alby is dead!"

Newt's P.O.V

I saw Gally point the gun at Y/N head. I got so scared but then it turned to anger cause he was gonna kill the best thing to happen to me. i looked down and saw a long sharp piece of glass. I quickly grabbed it and threw it hitting Gally in the chest. He gasped for air but I quickly ran over to Y/N and grabbed her.

"Are you alright love?" I asked looking in her eyes

"I'm fine Newty you saved me." She said smiling as she kissed me. I pulled back cause I heard a noise. In came a bunch of men.

"Hello kids. We're gonna get you out of this place."

I looked at Y/N with a smile and held her hand. We we're about to go off and start a new life. One where we could grow old together and raise Y/S. This was all worth it

Thomas's P.O.V

I walked behind Y/N ans Newt as we got on the helicopter. I smiled as they took Y/S out of the baby carrier. He looked at her with pure love. Cause after all, she was his love.
