Your P.O.V

I was in the med-jack hut because I hadn't been feeling well lately. I had been throwing up like crazy and I've been really gross feeling.

I was laying down with my eyes closed and trying to fall asleep when I felt someone take my hand. I slowly opened my eyes and was met with Newt's bright smile.

"How you feeling love?" He asked while running his thumb of her my knucklel. "I'm feeling a little better but the boys are sure what wrong with me." I said coughing into my elbow.

I leaned back and pulled the blanket up and tries to get warm but I just couldn't. "Newt can you get me another blanket out of the draw please?" I said closing my eyes again.

Newt's P.O.V

"Of course love." I walked over to the draw and grabbed a thick blanket and walked back over to Y/N. I wrapped the blanket around her and laid down next to her holding her in my arms.

I was playing with her hair and then I heard her breathing go even. I looked down at her and she had fallen asleep. I smiled down at her as Clint and Jeff walked in.

"Hello mates." I said greeting the two fellow gladers. "Hey Newt. How's Y/N feeling?" Clint asked walking over to the table and grabbing some stuff out of the cabinet. "She's feeling a little better but she can't get warm and she's still pale like she was the day she got sick."

Jeff started looking through a book that Clint Hafiz set on the counter. We look at it and was in deep thoughts and wrote down some notes on a piece of paper.

"So I've been looking through the books on diseases and illnesses that they sent up to us and I'm not seeing anything that links up with what she's got." Jeff said looking back up at me.

I looked down at the girl who was sleeping in my arms and I tried to fight the nasty feeling that was starting to form in my gut. I pushed her hair out of the way and felt her face. She was ice cold and I was getting worried.

"She's ice cold." I said. Jeff walked over and felt her forehead. Clint stayed over looking at the books. I could tell he was getting very frustrated that he couldn't figure out what was wrong with her.

"Clint mate it's ok. Take a break." I said getting up and walking over to him. "I can't because I'm frustrated that I can't figure out what illness she has. It shouldn't be this hard but it is." He said looking away from the book.

Jeff walked over and unlocked a draw pulling out a small book. He opened it and sat down to read it. Clint and I watched as he look there it. His face soured when all the sudden it dropped. "What is it Jeff." Clint asked

He looked up at us and turned the book and showing us the page. "She has influenza. I totally forgot about this book. All of her symptoms match up to this. "

I looked at him and his face was still cold. "What's the cure?" I asked waiting for him to respond. "This book doesn't show one. Next to cure it shows a question mark."

My face dropped and I looked down at her. "Well let a just let her rest and keep feeding and putting liquid into her body." I said walking over and taking her hand.

The boys walked out and I rested my head on her hands. "Baby please get better. It's hard not having you be ok. I'm worried about you. Your my whole world. I love you so much and I can't lose you." I said crying as I held her hand

*Time skip*

Your P.O.V

I was getting better and I was finally able to stand up and not get sick. I hard gotten to leave the med-jack hut but I was obsessed bed rest for a couple more days. I was currently laying in Newt's arms as he played with my hair. I was starting to fall asleep when I heard a knock on the door. Newt got up and in came Frypan.

"How you feeling Y/N?" He asked coming in and setting some soup down next to me on the table. "I'm good I said smiling at him." He smiled at me and walked out. Newt shut the door and laid down next to me. I smiled up and him and he smiled back.

"What are you smiling about love?" He asked playing with my hair. "How I'm the luckiest girl in the world. I have you and you treat me like a queen." He smiled down at me and I leaned up and kissed him. "I love you Newt." I said "I love you to Y/N." I smiled and just laid down in his arms as I feel asleep feeling safe in him embrace.

Hey guys how is everone? I know it's been a long time since I updated but I'm getting there. It's a slow process and I'm thankful for all of those who stick with me. I'll try to update as much as I can but school and sport some times come up. Love y'all
