A way out?

Your P.O.V

I was sitting in my mine and Newt's hut playing with the baby. I was smiling and making funny faces at him while I rocked him in my arms. He had been the sweetest thing. He barley ever cries late at night or during the day.

I kissed his head and then there was a knock on the door. I looked up "Come in."

The door opened and in came Thomas. "Hey Y/N can I talk to you for a minute?" "Sure just let me put him down for a minute." I got up and walked over to the crib and layed the baby down and then sat down at the table and Thomas dat on the other side.

"So what did you need to talk to me about?" He twiddle his thumbs "I think there's a way to get out of the maze. Minho and u have been working on a way but the others just don't think that there's away but I was hoping you would believe me."

I just sat there looking at him. I couldn't find the right words to say. "Thomas I love you but I think k this is crazy. Newt's right. It would be to risky and dangerous."

He got up and flung his hands around "Why does no one believe me!" "Because Thomas it's crazy. We've been stuck here for so long and have been trying to find a way out but we haven't. So what can't you just love a normal life. Let go of all trying to get out of the maze stuff because it will never happen."

I walked over and picked up the baby. "Now if you would excuse me I need to take care of my baby so please leave." He stomped out of the hit slamming the door. I sighed and just stood there rocking him back and forth in my arms. I kissed his little hand and then Newt came in.

"Hello love, how are you and Y/S?" I smiled and walked over kissing his cheek. "We're good. We got a little surprise visit from Thomas today but that was all."

Newt took Y/S and held him. We sat down at the table and Newt looked over at me "Why was Tommy here?" I just shock my head "He was trying to tell me about how we could get out of the maze but I told him I didn't think there was a way and told him to leave so he stomped off." I said groaning.

Newt just stayed quite and shock his head. "We've tried for years and have never found a way out. Where going to be stuck here but that's ok. Because as long as I have you" He reached over and took one of my hands in his "I'll lays be ok. And now that we have this beautiful baby boy were so happy so what's the point of fixing something when it's not broken?" I smiled and leaned over the table and kissed him.

"I love you Newt." He smiled and kissed back "I love you to Y/N."

Newt's P.O.V

I was working in the garden when I saw Thomas come running in with something in his hands. And I wondered that in the shuck could this kid have found. I walked over to him. "What the shank is that Tommy?"

He looked and me then back down at it. "I don't know. I pulled it from a dead griever." "Tommy what are you thinking we could all be in danger. What is something happens and more grivers come!" I yelled.

Iatches into the hit and we had a keeper meeting. We discussed what to do and then we heard yelling and screaming and then Y/N came running in with the baby, tears running down her face.

"What's wrong?" I asked running over to her. "Guys the walls aren't closing what should we do!" I looked out the hit door and saw that that she was right. All of us rushed outside to see what was going on.

I looked at Y/N. "Run and go hide in the hut and don't open the doors for anything." She nodded and kissed me. It could be the last time and she looked me straight in the eye and said "I love you so much Newt. Please stay safe and come back to us in one piece." She cries

I kissed her head and then Y/S. "I promise I'll come back to you guys. I love you too." She then ran off back to the hut and I waited there with the others waiting for whatever was going to happen.

Hey guys how are you all doing? Sorry it took so long. I've been busy with softball and I had to get my phone fixed because of dropped and shattered it. And I was also busy doing shoulder recovery. I hope all of your are well and I'll try to get updates done as soon as I can.
