Y/n's P.O.V.

I was excited to work with Dean, Cas, and Sam. They seemed like cool people. God, was I wrong. They are messed up! And I don't blame them either! If a demon killed my mom, or if I was an angel turned human, I would be the same way too.

((I just realized not everyone reading this watches Supernatural so, Sam & Dean are brothers- Dean is older - when Sam turned 6 months old his mom was killed by a demon. Castiel is an angel turned human because he lost his grace. His grace is the thing that makes angels, angels.))

Anyway, I feel bad for them.

"What happened to your dad?" I asked Dean as we were walking toward the creepy old mansion.

Dean stuttered, "Uh- I- what?"

I shrugged, "You said that your mom was killed- so what about your dad?"

Dean went silent, but thankfully Sam intervened, "He died on the job."

I nodded sympathetically, "Yeah- I was an orphan for a day once. I was sleeping when David- the camp counselor woke me up and told me that he had gotten a call. Both my parents had died in a car accident. My dad was drunk and they hit a tree." I shudder, remembering that night. "The day after, David adopted me."

Cass frowned, "Condolences."

I smiled. I like Cas. (Not like-like, but just a friend kind of thing).

Max ran up to me since he was dragging behind, and slung his arm over my shoulder. "Luckily, Y/n had me to help." I smiled and pecked his cheek causing a light blush to form on his cheeks.

"Yup, this dork saved me." I giggled.

Cas and Dean shared a look (Cass: Dean. I saved you from perdition.    Dean: Yeah, and?   Cas: We should date like them. But gayer.    Dean: *Blushing and Stuttering* O-Okay.)

Sam smiled, "Good to hear."

We stopped abruptly in front of the mansion. It was a lot creepier than expected.

I sighed.

"Crap."

THERE'S A PLACE I KNOW THAT'S TUCKED AWAY...!

Transition to when they are inside the house.

As the new guys were checking out the main room, I spoke up, "Maybe we should check out the lab. There might be medicine in there, and who knows, maybe even the ghost you're looking for." I suggested.

Max nodded, "Y/n's right. We really need that medicine. I think our camp counselors are dying."

I snorted, "When is Gwen not dying. She complains about everything."

Max stifled his laugh and Dean gave me a fist pump at my witty comment. Sam nodded, "The lab it is." Max showed us the secret door, and as soon as he opened it- a terrible stench filled my nose.

I may or may not have puked in my mouth.

Let's go with may not have.

Cas, Dean, and Sam brought out their flashlights, but they were useless because Max just turned the light on. There were hundreds of seriously wacky experiments, all placed in clear glass boxes. My eyes widened in horror, and I froze. "What the hell?" I whispered. Who would do this? What kind of horrible monster tinkers with living beings. The fluorescent lights above us started to get a little hazy, and I almost fell backward in shock.

My eyes started to glaze over in tears for these poor animals as I turned around to get Max. I need him right now, to keep me sane, and steady in front of all these terrible creatures. "Max?" I choked out.

As soon as he was me, he knew. I didn't have to explain how I felt, he knew. He came over and intertwined his fingers in mine, giving my hand a light squeeze. And that was all it took.

Reality came back, bitch slapping me in the face, and I started to breathe a little steadier. "Okay, Sam, Dean, you go that way." I point right. "We'll take Cas this way." I gesture left.

Everyone nodded, but as Dean started to walk away I could hear him whisper, "Who made her in charge?" At first, I was slightly offended. 'I was just doing what I felt was right? Does Dean not like it when I tell him what to do? That sounds weird. Ew. Stop.' But, then I heard, "Whoever it was deserves a damn medal because that girl knows what the hell she's doing."

I smiled, with my faith in Dean restored.

"So, Cas. What's up with you?" Max asked, wanting to start a conversation to cut out the awkward tension between us.

"Well, in short, there's an evil guy named Metatron." He started.

I smiled, "He sound's like a new transformer." Cas laughed and nodded.

"Anyway, he took my grace, the thing that made me an angel, and without it... I'm one of you." He shrugged.

"Human," Max stated. "A human angel."

I gave Cas a pat on the back, "Cootos for you for not having a mental breakdown, I probably would have." I grinned. The room suddenly got cold and my grip around Max's hand got tighter. I shivered, "Why is it so cold all of a sudden?" I ask, mostly to myself. I noticed Cas was on high alert, looking around frantically for what I can only guess would be the ghost.

A silence fell between us.

"Hiya, fellas!"

I covered my mouth to prevent myself from screaming, and when I turned around, realized it was just Jasper. A sigh of relief escaped my lips and I giggled, "Oh, god, Jasper. I thought you were a killer ghost."

"You know this child?" Castiel asked in a gravelly voice.

I nodded yet again, "Yeah, he live's on the island, Jasper this is Castiel- Cas for short. Castiel, this is Jasper."

Jasper took glances sideways, and then stared at Cas for a split second, "Wha- a ghost? Why are you looking for a ghost?" He asked a hint of desperation in his voice.

I looked up to Cas, hoping he would explain because I've got no freaking clue. "Uh, well, we were going to... give it peace. Allow it to move on to heaven. Or hell, depending on what it's done." Castiel stated with hesitance.

Jasper gulped, "Well, I guess you've found him." He admitted.

My jaw hit the floor.

Jasper is the ghost.
