Zoe's POV:

My effort to reduce the hype around the picture of Alfie and I 'kissing' failed terribly. For the record we were not kissing, he was pouting and I was smiling however I knew it would be a hopeless case to convince people of this. Mayhem and fights broke out across all my social media. We were swarmed with comments about it. Jim had been sucked into the whole mess too! It was time to end it all. I honestly could not believe how out of proportion it got. I never actually realized the vast amount of people that cared so much about myself and Alfie who are just two regular people in a relationship. The thought was overwhelming yet exuberating all at once. If these people cared so much they deserved to know. After all It's thanks to all our subscribers that we are where we are today.

On the 11th August I sat down with Alfie to type a blog post for my blog addressing the matter. It took us nearly two hours from start to finish as we spend a great deal of time precisely wording and analyzing each sentence. I wanted it to be the first and last time I would ever talk directly about Zalfie. I asked everybody to please respect our privacy and understand that we would not be 'an Internet couple' who records all the ins and outs of the relationship. The post could not have gone down better. Everybody was so supportive, it meant so much to me.

Alfie's POV:

Zoe's blog post restored much needed peace. It was such a relief for all our friends not to have to worry about catching us in a vlog and our families who were no longer bombarded with questions regarding the situation.

We were very pleased with the reaction. We continued on as normal with our videos and vlogs and the drama died down. We had gotten through it together and honestly it bought us closer. I believed that because we conquered the situation we could conquer any other situation that we would ever need to face. Thankfully we were stronger than ever!
