Chapter 21

The rehearsal dinner was amazing, the food tasted really good while everyone corporate when there were little issues. Over all I was so happy. Danny had been really busy these days. We nearly didn’t talk since he popped the question! I was with Ashley while the election was on the corner.

The wedding day! This is a third person’s P.O.V

The marriage was in city hall which was a 45 minute ride. The limo had been outside her house since morning and every one were already at home. The hair dresser, makeup artists, nail artists, tailor, bridesmaids, and of course her family.

Rachel saw her dress after fitting for the first time, and it was WOW! It was fitted on the right places showing her curves. The hair dresser did a brilliant job too; she had a retro puff with prom curls falling of her shoulders. She hardly put any make-up on and had French manicure done neatly.

She was ready before time and was sitting in the kitchen, while others were talking and doing their final touches.

“Hey Rachel” Jill came and sat next to her on the stool, while Rachel smiled amusingly

“I’m getting married” Rachel finally said breaking the silence.

“I know, and Danny is THE GUY for you, he will always keep you happy” Jill said assuring Rachel

“How did you feel?”

“About what?”

“Your marriage! Before your marriage how were you feeling about marring dad?” Rachel asked impatiently

“Well, I was happy and excited but at the same time it was a big step.”

Rachel had her ears open while she continued

“We were about to start a family, being independent, sharing our lives, our soul. But you know what I was glad I found a man like him, he didn’t turn out amazing at the end, but the Boris I knew, I still love him and I always will” Jill ended patting Rachel’s back

“Rachel, you are about be a woman now, you are going to start a new chapter in your life. How do you feel about it honey?” Jill asked concerned

“Well, I feel happy and all positive. Nothing bad is coming in my mind! It’s making me even more nervous!”

“What? You’re feeling good and you’re nervous?”

“Yeah mom!”

“Don’t worry I am there, it will all be fine” Jill said hugging Rachel

“Let’s leave now; we don’t our boy to wait any longer to see you”

We sat in the limo with the maid of honor and Jill, while the others were at the venue

They reached there on time, Rachel wanted Stella to walk her down the aisle and no one had any objections to that.

A pleasant breeze from the north rustled in the surrounding shrubs, cooling the guests and family members as they took their seats on either side of the walk leading to the gazebo. Sweet strains of classical music drifted through the crowd. Rachel couldn't believe it; she was finally getting married.
