Elani's Pov

I woke up with a major headache. I opened my eyes and cursed under my breath. The pain. Why did I drink so much yesterday? Where the fuck am I?? I panicked but soon sighed when I saw who was sleeping on the other side of the bed.

"Pshhh.. Girl.. Ruth!" I whispered/shouted

Even my own voice was screaming loudly in my head.

"Ugh.. Shh.. I'm trying to sleep.." She said lazily

I rolled my eyes but snickered little after. This girl is always lazy. I got up slowly and headed to the bathroom. I washed my face to try and wake myself up.

"Do you have a scrunchy or something?" I asked holding my hair up with my hand.

She got up and looked in her purse. She tossed me a small one but it was enough for me. I put my hair in a small bun while she washed her face and combed her long black hair. It wasn't tangled.

"We should go.." She said walking out the bathroom.

"Yeah.. Do you have another pill?" I asked

She turned her head towards a small drawer and there was the water bottle and the pills that I needed. I took two in my hand and soon swallowed them. I felt a little strange. I don't remember anything that happened last night but I think I disappointed her.

"Let's go before we get in trouble.." She said walking out, not waiting for me.

I took my heels in my hand and began to walk down the stairs. This house was a total mess. I feel sorry for the owner. As soon as I reach the door I saw a car parked outside.

"I called my parents.. They sent someone to come pick us up.. You can come over if you'd like." She smiled

"Thanks!" I said as I ran outside.

The sunlight was far too bright and my head started pounding. She only rolled her eyes and smiled lightly.

"Bitch come help me!" I scream

"Orokana, dare ga yotte shutoku suru koto ga wakarinasu???" She furrows her eyebrows.

"I don't speak Japanese.. This is America.. You speak English or Spanish.." I growled annoyed and exhausted

"Baka! " she said flicking my forehead

"Ow.. I said help me not Harass me!!" I said

She helped me walk Into the car, finally. She soon closed her eyes and I looked away. Looking out the window always helps me. Te me vas by prince Royce started playing. He wasn't my favorite, but it was still a nice sound that broke the silence that still lingered between us.

Something is bothering her and she doesn't want to tell me. She was very upset when her brother left. But I don't think that it's that, that is bothering her at the moment.

I threw myself on her soft bed as soon as we entered her room. She only laughed and went into her bathroom. She came out a couple of minutes later though.

"Go take a shower and clean yourself up. I'll go make you something to eat." She said

She then placed a light pink unused towel on the bed. With unused undergarments that I had made her buy me just in case I slept over one of these days. Thank god she bought them. She also brought me skinny Jeans and a flowery cropped top. They seemed to fit nicely together.

"Thanks.." I said as I grabbed everything.

She only smiled and walked out the room. I sighed loudly and walked into the bathroom. My heart wouldn't stop beating fast for some reason. It was weird. It was a feeling of fear, like if someone was watching me. I laughed at myself. There's no one home. Ruth's parents are out and about. And Ruth is downstairs making us some good food. Calm down Elani, it's just your imagination.
