So I somewhat already know how I'm gonna end this story. I don't even think it's a happy ending, I'll see..

Ruth's Pov

The week spent in the woods was great. Elani had let Anees and Jamal sleep together and she slept with her boyfriend. The smell of sex that sometimes was produced by the three horny couples was very disturbing. But I did not speak of it. Time was passing by far too quickly and I couldn't grasp of anything. Summer would be here very soon. But for now I'm enjoying watching the rain falling down and the drops that fall on the beautiful flowers outside my house.

"You look so calm watching out your window like that." I froze

I turned towards the sound of the Voice and let out a sharp breath. It was him. I wanted to cry. He never showed up at plain sunlight. He always came at night, so that I would not see him. But now I could see him. I could see his face, his eyes, everything. And it scared me. He was beautiful. But his eyes scared me. They were yellow, like the sun.

"Well, didn't you miss me? I've been visiting other people.." He said with his deep raspy voice

"Who?"

"Oh no one special.. Has Elani told you anything?" He smirked

"No! How- you!!! You're the one who's been scaring her?!! She's traumatized! You monster!" I ran up to him and slapped him across the face

When he turned to look at me he looked angry.

"You bitch!" He screamed as he pushed me on the bed

I gasped and tried to get out of his grasp. But he pulled my dress back and ripped it. I felt my eyes water. When did I fall so deep? When? Why don't i remember ? Why am I so vulnerable. This isn't me. I kicked him and his lips soon had blood oozing from them.

"Stay away from me! Stay away from my friends! " I screamed

"That's not possible my sweet angel.. I'm kinda liking scaring Anees and Elani.. They're trying to find out who I am but they're so stupid. " he laughed

"Please just stop! What did I ever do to you?? I don't even know you !!!" I screamed

"You love me.. Even when you didn't see me.. You embraced me.. You gave me love.."

"I gave you pity. I pitied you." I spit out harshly

"Shut up!" He slapped me

My hand reached for my cheek and I felt the burning. I looked up at him with sorrowful eyes. He was a monster. And for so long I hoped that he wasn't. I wished. I longed. But now I am disappointed. Why? Why did I believed that he had any good in him??

"I never wanna see you ever again. Leave me alone or I will call the police." I said

"You wouldn't.." He said immediately

"Then go, go and never come back.. Please leave me alone.. Why did you choose me?"

"Because you're like a bird.. Beautiful and free.. I wanted your love.." He said obsessively

"I'm sorry.. But my love I cannot give you.."

I lowered my head. And when I looked up, he was no longer there. I smiled and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

June 30.

We were all ready. Our things were packed. We were ready for summer.

"This is a huge house so we can all have separated rooms but I doubt that will be the case.." I said

"Oh shut up. I'm so excited " Elani said

We were hoping for a great and fun summer.. But we didn't know what was coming our way..
