Death bound us together (Joker x OC)

Diamond is my oc, also enjoy some sad music to go with a sad story. 

*Diamond's POV*

I watched as the building my friends, my family, were in was set alight in unforgiving and merciless flames. I felt the tears in my eyes but quickly wiped them away. "No, they would want you to smile, to survive." I told myself, a sad smile gracing my lips, "Can't disappoint them."

An image of Joker flashed across my mind. "oh, Joker, If only I had the chance to tell you I love you, but now it's too late, now you're gone..." I muttered, tears flowing freely down my face and dripping onto the cold, hard, ground. "Why? Why must I lose everyone?!"

*Joker's POV*

I watched her, even if we are dead, our spirits can still watch over people. I looked at her sad face, and felt my heart shatter. I wanted to comfort her, make her smile, be there for her, but I couldn't. "Oh, Diamond, I'm sorry..."

*Diamond's POV*

I wiped my tears. "I have to stay strong..." I tried to convince myself, but every word only made the pain increase tenfold. I knew who it was who had done this, it was those two newbies, Black and Smile.

 A sigh escaped my lips as I made my way back to the circus. The walk was lonely, and in a discomforting silence. "They did this. They killed my family. They killed my love! I will end them! I will Avenge my family!"

Finally, I had reached the circus, only to see Smile and Black waiting. "I thought there was one left." Smile sighed. "Let's just get this over with."

"No way!" I snapped. "I will survive, for them, their memory will live on in me! I won't die, I will survive  for them!"

"I wouldn't be so sure of that..." Black's voice came from behind me. My eyes widened slightly but  quickly managed to regain my cool.

"Not so fast, mister!" I yelled jumping into a nearby tree and looking down. 

"You're gonna have to be faster than that, sweetheart." I stated in a condescending voice, chuckling afterwards.

"You killed my family! You killed Joker! But you won't kill me, you'll be dead before you can kill me!" I yelled, tears streaming down my cheeks in never ending waterfalls. 

 That's when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a bullet whizzing towards me. 

I quickly dodged the flying metal, but in doing so I fell from the tree. I quickly stood up, only to feel something stab into my stomach. I looked up to see Black. "W-why?" I asked, but got no answer as he walked back to smile. 

I fell to my knees, the pain becoming unbearable. Eventually, I began to cough up blood, and the pain became too much. I collapsed onto my stomach. I looked up one last time to see Joker. 

He knelt down on one leg and held out his hand to me. I smiled weakly as I locked eyes with his brilliant purple ones. "Jo...ker..." I whispered out, with all the strength I could muster. "I...Love...you..."

I reached out for his hand, slowly, before finally succumbing to the open arms of death and watching the world fade to darkness.

The next thing I knew, I was standing there, next to joker, who was smiling at me. I looked down to see my own body, on the floor bleeding out. I returned my gaze to joker.

"I love you too, Diamond." He whispered, gently taking my hand in his and giving me comforting smile.

Now we are happy together, even if it is in the afterlife. My heart belongs to him, even though it is no longer beating but is un-moving within my chest. I guess death bound us together.

And remember don't swear or make inappropriate comments.
