I'm here for you (Ciel x Reader)

I sighed as I walked towards the door leading to Ciel's office. He's been so distant, so emotionless, since his parents died. He won't even open up to me. His best friend. I know it must be hard on him, but it'll only hurt him more if he doesn't talk about it. I decided that I would talk to him and try to get it out of him. But I won't force him, I don't want to make him upset. I love him, I would never want him to be upset. 

Signing heavily, I gently open the door "Ciel?" I whispered. He didn't reply, but I knew he was in there. I decided to call out again, in the hope that he would respond.

"Ciel, Are you ok? You've been so distan..." I started but he cut me off.

"Go away." He mumbled. He sounded so bored. But it was response. I stepped into the room, but stepped back out, it was rude to enter a room without permission.

"But Ciel, I'm worried about y..."

"Go away!" He yelled, louder this time. I jumped back. You know what?!Who cares if it's rude! I walked into the room and up to Ciel's desk and placed my hands on it.

"I will not go away, Ciel, talk to me, I want to know what's wrong!" I stated in a stern voice. He just sighed.

"I don't want to talk about it." He muttered, looking more miserable than usual, I mean usually, you can't tell how he's feeling.

I nodded in understanding "Just try to smile, please, I do worry you know?"

*Ciel's POV*

"I'm fine, don't worry!" I pressed, faking a smile, for her sake. I would never want to see (Y/N) so worried or upset because of me. She smiled back, although she looked sceptical. I love her too much to see her so worried.

She nodded and turned to walk out. She closed the door behind her. I sighed. I should have told, maybe it would have made me feel better. I'm such and idiot at times. I contemplated whether I should go and get her or stay here and keep up my facade whenever she's around.

I remember once when we were little, I had an asthma attack and she helped me, she was so worried then too. 

*Flash back*

I smiled as I chased a young (Y/N) around the mansion gardens. "You're never gonna catch me, Ciel!" She giggled.

I laughed and sped up. "Yes I will!" 

She quickly clambered up a tree and sat on one of the branches, swinging her feet. I crried on running, my lungs burning as I began to slow down. She noticed this.

"Ciel!" She yelled. "What's wrong?"

I tried to tell her, but all I could do was cough and sputter. I heard her gasp. I looked up to see (Y/N) Jumping out of the tree and running over to me.

She stopped beside me and picked me up on her back. "I'm going to get you to your parents, don't worry, you'll be fine!" She tried to reassure me, although she sounded concerned and uncertain. I felt my self becoming unconscious, then, I blacked out completely, smiling slightly, knowing I was in safe hands.

*End flashback*

That's it! I needed to tell her. Getting up, I walked through the mansion. It really is quite a confusing building, even for me, and I've lived here all my life. After multiple wrong turns, which surprised me, then again, I didn't know what room Sebastian had told her to stay in. I had finallyfound it.

Sighing, I gently knocked on the door. I heard muffled sobbing, which confused me. Why would she be crying? "(Y/N)? Can I come in?"

A muffled "yes" came from the other side of the door. Gently, I opened the door to see (Y/N) Crying into her pillow. I gasped and ran over to her.

"(Y/N), What's wrong?!" I asked, concerned. She looked up,her eyes red and puffy.

"It's because, You won't talk to me Ciel! Is it because you don't trust me?" She sobbed. My eyes widened in realisation. I gently hugged her. 

"Of course I trust you." I whispered.

I heard her sniffle. "Then, If you trust me, tell me why you've been so distant."

"It's because, I'm scared, scared to lose someone else. Scared to lose you. I thought if I acted distant, we'd drift apart. Then I wouldn't lose you to someone who would use you, to get to me."

*(Y/N)'s POV*

I gasped slightly. It's because he doesn't want to lose me? I felt some tears drop onto my back. Ciel was crying.

"I'm sorry if it hurt you! I just love you too much to lose you!"

I moved back and gently cupped his face in my hand. "Oh, Ciel, you won't lose me."

He smiled slightly. "I know..." He whispered. 

At least I managed to get him to smile again. 

"I love you Ciel." I smiled before gently placing a kiss on his cheek.
