A/N: Hey strangers

I would not be surprised if no one really ends up even seeing this.

But thank you to the people who were there when this started, who came along the way, and the few that are still finding this even now.

It is strange how some badly written frerard fan fiction that I started when I was like 13 ended up being read by so many people.

So I'm sorry that this will never get the ending you all deserve.

I have no desire to write this anymore, nor do I even remember all the little details I had planned.

So I'm going to end this here, with what I can remember about how things were going to go.

Thank you.

It was supposed to be revealed that actually Gerard was the one who was posing as April online. Frank would find out by going on Gerard's computer and seeing the account signed in from the time where 'April' texted talking about how she missed talking to Frank, which Frank ignored.

This would put a dent in the plan for Frank to move in with Gerard, Mikey, and their mom to do his victory lap in school, so he was going to put up with living with his mom and her new girlfriend Beverly.

Frank's Mom was going to work towards a huge redemption while realizing her efforts to change now did not excuse her past behaviour, but she would succeed in getting her life back together. Or at least she would seem like she was succeeding, when really, her mind was still suffering from dealing with her ex husband's incarceration and coming to terms with his abuse of her and her self hatred for the way that this made her act towards her kids. Her story would unfortunately come to an end around the Spring after Frank is getting ready for upcoming college offers, when she can no longer handle her trauma and takes her own life.

This throws Frank into a shock but he quickly overcomes it to be there for his sister and his mother's girlfriend Beverly, whom she was planning to start a new life with. Beverly acquires temporary custody of Mary while Frank finishes school.

Frank goes on to get into 'insert Ivy League school here' somehow because my brain didn't understand how hard that is ha. But he was going to go through that and eventually get an English degree of sorts and become an author.

The second book was to pick up where Frank finishes all of his schooling. His newest novel catches a break when a local publishing company decides to publish him if he moves to New York so he makes the move and figures out life out there along with an old friend, Jamia, whom he reaches out to upon remembering her previous plans to move out there. He moves in with her as she is struggling to pay for her apartment by herself, and they begin living together for a while. He gets a job with a promoting company and assists setting up and planning events. As part of the job he attends them and promotes himself as an up and coming author. He also frequently brings Jamia with him to enjoy the fanciness. Jamia reveals that she is pregnant with the kid of an abuser she entered into a polyamorous relationship with as it was what an ex girlfriend of hers had wanted. She tells him that the reason she is keeping the baby is because she had always been scared about being pregnant and the planning of whether or not she would adopt with a partner or use a donor or all the possibilities. This way, it has just happened and while the circumstances are traumatic, she promises to love her child as it is hers. As things go on and more events are happening he runs into Gerard at an art gala and the two exchange a few pleasantries but go on their way. They then keep meeting. Jamia gives birth wowowow and old pal Lindsey visits. Soon the two become involved again. Gerard is in a relationship with Bert who becomes obsessed with being jealous over Frank yadda yadda yadda the ending is fuzzy from here but apparently Gerard and Frank do end up hooking up, much to the guilt of Gerard over this. Who then gets severely abused by Bert and Jamia was going to run Bert over with a car, effectively putting her in jail, and Frank takes care of the baby with the help of Lindsey. Gerard sends Frank a letter a few days after leaving as he decides he needs to travel and find himself as an individual without the toxicity of Bert clinging onto him. He tells Frank that he loves him and that he's already left.

Third book was going to take place as Frank is doing a book tour for his popular novel sequel. He and Lindsey take care of Jamia's child as the godparents since the father of the child is deemed unfit for parenting. The baby is a young girl now, just going into kindergarten. The relationship that Frank and Lindsey have becomes confusing as lines begin to blur between platonic and romance. The two sleep together after a long time of uncertainty and some distance grows between them as Frank goes on tour the next day, thus not seeing her for a while. When he gets back, they have had time to think and decide that it is not right after all these years, and not right since they have to be there for the child. There is still an awkward rift between the two of them and Frank decides to move out despite his better judgment. He moves back to New Jersey, where he temporarily lives with his deceased mother's girlfriend and his now teenaged sister, Mary. He must write his final novel but has felt stuck ever since the release of the last one. His book tour was an excuse to put off writing for it, but now that he has all that out of the way, he has run out of time to waste. As Frank has returned home, he goes on a search to find himself and get back to his roots, including visiting his old high school, and a favourite English teacher in particular, whose wisdom and mentor helped shape the person that Frank is. Frank finds himself helping out at the school, and discovers inspiration from his time there as well as the students that he meets. He remembers what it was like to be that age and he feels like himself again. On a random outing to run some errands, Frank is surprised when he runs into the mother figure of his upbringing, Mrs. Way. He catches up with her and even Mikey and Pete which she invites over as well. The couple are thriving, being engaged to wed in the summer, and Frank is a bit envious of their success in a perfect relationship. He begins hanging around Mrs. Way more often, helping her do things around the house and taking care of her, as Mikey is now living in Chicago with Pete and Gerard is somewhere in Asia teaching art to school children. Donna's health is diminishing as her back had been giving out and she can't walk easily. One afternoon, unplanned, Gerard drops in, bringing his suitcases and belongings with him as he has planned to temporarily move back in now that his teaching term is done. This actually wasn't unplanned, as Donna knew, but neglected to tell either of the boys about the other being there. There is no hard feelings of course, just shock, and the two adjust to one another once more. No relationship is in the way of course, but each is too hesitant to act on any feelings that still may be there after all these years, so they put them aside and work together to help Gerard's Mom. As Frank has grown accustom to the inspirational peak being within the Way house, he continues to visit, even though his help isn't entirely needed now with the eldest son moved back in. Mikey and Pete's wedding is approaching and Frank is balancing writing, helping at the school and with Donna, as well as building a relationship with his sister and with Gerard once again. The wedding comes and the old gang gets back together for a friends' night similar to that of a bachelor/bachelorette party for the night before. Frank is surprised to see both Lindsey and Jamia, as she's been let out, and the two are together once more. Frank feels hurt that he hadn't been informed of the news of his friend's release, but quickly forgives. There is a lot of catching up with those of the group who could make it, including Amy (very happy being a school music teacher), Ryan and Brendon (have been living together in California for the past four years while they frequently travel to New York as Brendon stars in shows on Broadway and Ryan is a self published poet), Hayley (who has a family with a man she met in college with two kids), Jon and Cassie (who also have a family but one of dogs so far instead), Joe (still trying to make it in music and has a steady job at a record shop), and Spencer (recovering addict, also living in California, and getting his life back together thanks to the birth of his son). A night of fun is had with reminiscing and all that jazz. The wedding happens and Frank feels right once again, when he takes his best friend's hand as he leads him outside of the reception to a bench by some garden. He tells him that he still feels the way that he did when they were kids and that he thinks that this time the universe is ready for them. Gerard agrees and the two kiss, finally with no lie or anything to be wrong. The book ends with Frank finishing his last book and going on another tour, this time bringing Gerard along. But before they leave, they spend the night in Gerard's old room, watching movies and hanging out like they used to.
