My Dearest Younger Sister,
I know this is random, but my phone is dead; and I was too nervous to ask for anyone else's. Here I am, writing an email using the oldest computer I've ever seen. You'd think that with all these rich businessmen, their computers would be more up to code.
Anyways, I wanted to tell you that: Everything's great over here in the city. Blake's family is incredibly sweet-- a bit protective over him, but other than that, they're nice. They kind of remind me of what a family would ideally be. You know? Caring, sweet, loving, etcetera, etcetera.
Right now, it's early. I'm sure you know that. I can smell the pancakes that Irene, Blake's mother, has been making for ten minutes downstairs. It's only 6 AM-- a bit early for breakfast if you ask me. Regardless, I'm using the computer in the warm room we slept in.
If Ellie asks, NO WE DID NOT SLEEP TOGETHER!
I swear to the gods, Julie, if I get home and she has my stuff on the lawn for engaging in sexual acts (that I haven't engaged in, by the way) then I'm going to tell Brielle that you wet the bed until you were nine.
Now... Let's move on.
I'm not sure if you've ever seen the one you love sleep, but to me, it's the cutest thing I've ever set my eyes on-- not that you care, you Edgelord-- but... When he sleeps, he wrinkles his nose and he breathes hard enough to blow the bangs out of his face. Not to mention, like you and Lauren, he mumbles in his sleep. The only difference is that his isn't annoying.
Julie, is it possible to be this in love with someone? Is it possible to want to be with someone this much physically, emotionally, and mentally?
Enough about Blake and me, I guess. You're probably gagging as you read through this. Trust me, before Blake, I would've felt the same way, but things change whenever you meet the love of your life. The cheese is real this morning, sorry.
Anyways, you would love it here. Blake was showing me around to all the places he and his friends used to hang out at before they went their separate ways for college. I know that you are dead set on moving to California for college (Lauren told me), but it's beautiful here, too. I visited Broadway, Wall Street, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, and Blake's favorite pizzeria.
I'm also sending you pictures that Blake took. Look at how beautiful the scenery is here! Also ignore my face in the last picture-- Blake was making weird faces behind the camera and it was near impossible to hold in a laugh. The third picture is of all of us in front of the Christmas tree. The two grown redheads are Blake's mother and aunt-- they're twins-- and the men are their husbands. Plus, the teenage boy with blonde hair and the young girl with frizzy red hair are both Blake's cousins, Alec and Rose.
I have to go now. I'm sorry. Blake is waking up and he's whispering for me to come back to bed.
Much Love,
Eve L Kenevil
