"Colby." I paused, "Jake is home." Colby looked at me with confusion. "So what?" He asked. "What if he likes me and then finds us here." I tell him with a worried look on my face. "Relax. My door is locked." He tried to calm me down but I was still scared. I kissed him and looked into his eyes. "Fiiinnee." He sighed and got up. "Colby." I paused. "Yeah?" He had his hand on the door. I looked at him. Our gaze was strong and filled with butterflies that swarmed my stomach. Colby walked back over to the bed and sat down next to me. "I love you." He whispered. I froze. Thats what I was going to say... "Love is a strong word Colby." I could barley get my words out. "But its true." He looked at me I looked back with a smile. "I love you too Colby." A sudden knock on the door made me jump. Colby got up and walked to the door. Jake was looking in and saw me. "I didnt know we had a guest." Jake smirks. I let out a soft giggle. "What do you want Jake?" Colby asks with frustration. "I got donuts for all of the roommates. I got up and walked over to Colby who was suddenly interested.

We all walked downstairs to the kitchen. A small donut box was open and only 2 were left. "You can have mine May." Colby pat my shoulder. "It's fi-" I was cut off by Jake "No no. Have mine." Jake smirks. "Its really-" I was cut off again. "What is wrong with you?" Colby raises his voice. "Hmm? Not sure what you mean." Jake smirks once again. "Let me and May chill okay?" Colby seemed mad and I was getting worried. "May do you know whats going on?" Jake smirks again. "I-" Cut off... Again. "You're scaring her Colby!" Jake looks at Colby. Colby pauses. He tilts his head down. "May should hang with me instead of a hot-headed guy." Jake explains grabbing my arm. Colby separates Jake and I. "May." Colby was breathing heavy. "I'm sorry." A single tear runs down his face. "See May. You need a real man. A man who doesnt cry." Jake explains. Jake was going on about how he is a man when I finally snapped. "STOP IT." I yell. Jake looked at me with a confused expression. "At least Colby has a heart!" I yell. I pick up a donut and smash it into Jakes face. Jake was shocked. Colby looked at me with a surprised expression I took the last donut and took Colby's arm and lead him upstairs. We both sat on his bed. I took a bite of the icing and handed it to Colby. "Sorry I smashed the other one. Here we can share." Colby looked at me and wiped the icing off of my lips with his finger. I began to blush a bit. "Not hungry." He looked into my eyes. I leaned in and he did too. I suddenly felt his lips press against mine. His soft lips tasted like watermelon. Neither of us pulled back. I placed the donut on the nightstand and I pushed Colby flat on the bed.
