I was in the nurse's office during my 3rd block class. I was there with Jimmy until his mom came to pick him up. I decided to stay because I wasn't in much of a hurry to go to any of my classes.

If I could have been able to leave with Jimmy then I definitely would. However I knew that if I asked it would not slide with Jimmy's mom.

She would ask me a whole bunch of questions like: Why don't you want to go to class? Did your dad said it was okay? Did you have a bad day?

She would then start acting like she was my mom where she does that with Elise and Ryan at times. His mom, of course was worried about him. She was checking his forehead to see if he had a fever and was thinking about going to the hospital.

Until the nurse assured her that it was just something that he ate that triggered him to throw up. That was the made up excuse that we decided to tell the nurse. After that his mom decided from now on to pack his lunch instead of letting him eat cafeteria food. Through his mom's over reacting I started to understand that she was not over reacting at all.

She was worried for her son especially since Jimmy's cousin was killed in the murders and now it seems the same fate is starting to take place in our neighborhood. The worry of that is being transferred into other things like making sure that he is not too sick or not left alone for too long. Before leaving, his mom notices me as I was watching them.

"Jackson, Is Claire okay?" Claire was my mom's name. She and Jimmy's mom were close friends.

"I haven't been able to get in touch with her lately to stop by, but is she alright?"

"Well the doctors are finding a blood donor but she's still weak and doesn't talk much." I say.

"Well I'll try to stop by today, hopefully if Jimmy's not too sick."

"Mom I'm not that sick I was just feeling a little nauseous."

"Jimmy, don't you dare talk back to me! Wait where's your glasses?"

" I wasn't talking back and my glasses broke. They fell off my face and I stepped on them."

"You broke your glasses! You know I have to tell your father about this! You're definitely grounded!"

I couldn't help but laugh a little at their exchange between each other. With that his mom says goodbye to me where she gives me a hug. I could tell that she was also very worried for me and from there I wondered if my mom told her about Tristan since they can both relate in that way.

Then again if she did then why didn't she tell me?

Jimmy also says goodbye to me where I remind him about our agreement in secret so his mom wouldn't hear. When they left out of the nurse's office I started to go to my third block class until the bell rung, which meant that the block was over.

Now I had to make my way to Mr. Adam's class. I wasn't sure if he was going to send me back to detention during class or after.

I then entered the room to discover that he wasn't here today. Instead there was a substitute teacher that was taking attendance in the room. I was so relieved to see someone else sitting in his desk.

Her name, Ms. Peterson was written on the board. She looked really young like she was in her early twenties where she was quite strong looking from her arms. She wore a sweater and had her sleeves pulled up where you could see her muscles. She was also really beautiful where the boys in the class couldn't help but stare at her.

"Okay is Jackson Tanner here?" She asks as she calls my name from the attendance sheet.

I  raised my hand and with that she checked my name from the attendance sheet since I was the last one.
