Chapter 17

I stared at him for a moment. I had no idea what to say. Obviously i wanted to stay but what if it doesn't work out, and ive thrown away my life in London? Luckily for me, my phone rang and i saw it was my boss.
"Do you mind if I take this?" I asked Sal.
"Umm sure" he replied.
"But stay right here!" I said as i walked off with warm smile.

"Hello" I answered into the phone.
"Hello Alesha" my boss began. "We have actually got an offer for you. You can say no of course" he began.
"What is it?" I asked.
"As your in New York, we have been told there is an opening for a new novelist. A new contract with the same company but with double the pay!" He announced.
"So i stay in New York??" I asked, turning to face Sal with a smile.
"Yep! You move there!" He told me. "Would you like to accept the offer??" He asked.
"Definitely!!" I replied.
"Great. We will send you details over email. London will miss you!" He told me.
"Ill miss London, but I'm ready for a new life in New York" i announced as i hung up. I quickly ran over to Sal and threw my arms around him. He accepted he hug but didn't know what i was doing.
"Yes!" I shouted. H gave me a confused look. "I can stay in New York! With you" i announced.
"Wait.. so we can.. be together??" Sal asked shyly, looking down to the ground. I tilted his head up and placed my hands on his neck, pulling him into a kiss. I could feel his smile crease against my lips.
"We an be together.. I love You" I announced.
"I love you so much more" Sal replied.
"I better ask Q to see if i can stay with him" i said, pulling my phone from my pocket.
"No no no" sal said, pushing my phone down. "Stay.. well move in with me?" He suggested. "I know it sounds so soon but you have no where to stay and now that we are together.. i dont want to spend a single second without you!" He explained.
"Then yes please" i replied with a smile.
