The next morning I woke up to feel Sal's soft breath on my neck. He gently placed a kiss on the back of my neck which made my smile grow wider. I slowly turned over to my other side to be face to face with Sal; his bright smile gleaming at me. He softly brushed my hair to one side, letting his hand trail down to caress my face.
"Morning" I whispered with a smile.
"Good morning" he said back, kissing my forehead. I quickly glanced over his shoulder to see the alarm clock reading 7:03 am. I gently smiled to Sal then said
"Don't you have work soon"
"It can wait. I just want to be here- with you" Sal replied with a warm smile. He placed his hands around my back and pulled me close, resting my head just above his heart. We both slowly fell back to sleep, with our smiles never fading.
