Promises...

Chapter 22

After Sal calmed down, we decided to take a stroll in the park. We interlocked our hands together as I rested my head on his shoulder as we continued to walk.
"Im sorry the guys put you through all that. You were so strong" i said to him, with a tone of sympathy.
"I was just thinking about you all the way through, otherwise I would have cried my eyes out!" He said with a light laugh.
"Your so cute" i say, standing in front of him holding both of his hands. He sent me a soft smile as i tugged his hand, making him follow. I led him to a little bench, under a tree, overlooking the park lake, with a few ducks around.

He sat on the bench, so i wrapped my hands around him and cuddled up to him. His hand rested just above my hips as he soothingly grazed his thumb up and down. He planted a kiss on my forehead.

We sat there for a while talking about anything and everything. I was so happy in that moment to be relaxing there with the only guy i have ever love since we were kids.
"Do you remember the first time we met?" I asked Sal.
"Yep, we were playing video games" Sal said with a laugh. "2do you remember that family BBQ we had too!" Sal said.
"2that was the day we had our first kiss" i replied. "Actually.. that was my first kiss ever" i added with a smile.
"No way?! That was m first kiss too" Sal said.
"Wait.. we were each others first kiss" i said.
"I guess we were" Sal said to me with a smile, kissing me again.

We sat here reminiscing back to the day we first met, to today's date!
"What about your book?! About the girl and boy falling in love. Ave you got your ending yet?" Sal asked.
"I think ive just thought of the ending. The girl and boy fall in love and spend the rest of their lives together" i said to him.
He smiled at me.
"Sounds like a plan" Sal replied. We sat even closer to eachother, cuddling on the bench. He pressed a kiss to my forehead as we watched the sun setting on the lake.
And from that day on, we kept our promises to each other; to spend the rest our our lives together...
