Chapter 18

When me and Sal got home, i rang Q straight away to tell him that i have moved to New York for good. He was over the moon and i told him i will visit him tomorrow. I just moved the bags in the bedroom then ran downstairs. I cold see Sal tidying up the kitchen, so I thought to try and help. I went to wipe over the surfaces and I could see Sal looking at me un easy in the corner of my eye. I could tell it was bothering him, so i stopped and walked into the living room. As soon as I left, he re-wiped the surfaces and followed me in. I placed my mug on the coffee table, and straight away he picked it up and placed a coaster underneath. I had no idea why but this was bugging me. He just asked me to move in, now he is treating me like a guest!
"So, would you like to go out for dinner tonight or have takeaway?" He asked.
"Umm.. a takeaway" i answered.
"Okay babe" he said, kissing my forehead.

The Next Night...
Today Sal has been working on set all day, so to surprise him I made us dinner. I told him i had a little surprise and he texted back with love heart emojis. As soon as I heard the door open, dinner was just about ready. Sal walked into the kitchen.
"Hey" he said, kissing my cheek. 
"Hello" I replied. "I made us dinner" i announced.
"Oh, i forgot to mention- im going out with the guys tonight" he told me. "But you enjoy" he said, grabbing my jacket.

In my head, that was the final straw! He has not only been treating me like a guest, but now ive made him dinner and he forgot to tell me he is going out. I know i was making a fuss for no reason, but it was just annoying. I was feeling quite unappreciated.
"Well it would have been nice for you to tell me" i muttered.
"Bye" he said, not hearing what i said.

I sat on the sofa, in a sulk- until Murr came over.
"Oh hey. Sal has gone out" i told him.
"Oh yeah. Well i better stay here with you" he said with a smile, walking in. He sat on the sofa and set up netflix.
"Are you okay?" He asked me.
"Yeah, just me and Sal.." i said.
"Hey hey, cheer up" he said giving me a hug.. until Sal walked in.
"I forgot me-" he began. "Well this looks cosy" he sarcastically said, getting the wrong impression. "Im sorry. Ill go to give you and Murr a chance to keep kissing!" He shouted slamming the door behind him..
