"Do you have a name yet?"
The words made me freeze in place.
I heard his footsteps behind me, but I couldn't move.
I couldn't breathe.
I couldn't think.
"Do you?"
With the wind pounding in my ears, and the rain rolling down my cheeks, I couldn't even tell if I was crying. Turning my head an inch in his direction, I gave my answer and then locked my heart away.
For the last time.
"Logan."

His eyes went wide for a moment, I knew.
An agonizing silence fell.
"Nice name." He huffed in attempt to lighten the mood, I could tell he was forcing another smile.
I pursed my lips, trying not to give into his addicting charm.
When I didn't give him the response he had hoped for, he sighed painfully.
"Why?" He asked quietly, right behind me.
I wrinkled my face, expecting this response, even when I prayed it'd be something else.
I didn't want to tell him why. I knew what he'd do. He'd get angry and raise his voice again if he knew of what my intentions were regarding the baby and himself.
Silence.
That was my only option.
"Please don't shut me out too... I just got you back." He pleaded, his voice struggling to remain gentle.
You shut me out first--
Wait. A. Minute.
I turned around a little more, seeing that there was about a foot between us.
He took in a shaky breath, relieved that I had looked at him.
"Just.. got me... 'back'?" I seethed. "I'm sorry, did I hear that correctly?"
His face went hard as well as mine. I swear, this very well could have been two Alphas fighting for one-anothers territory.
"What did I say?"
"You're making it seem as if you owned me at a certain point. Like-Like I was a lost object that you found again." I whisper-yelled, trying not to catch the attention from pedrestrians like Logan had done before.
Logan straightened out his back and his muscles stretched in the process through his tight, black, shirt.
My mind went dizzy for a moment. My legs went numb and I had somehow forgotten to balance myself. Logan's hands caught me by my elbows again.
It seems to me that he's been catching me a lot... fuck, Liv, get it together.
I caught eyes with Logan and he had a teeny, tiny, side smile.
I grimaced.
"You knew I would do that." I accused.
He shook his head.
"Hardly," he assured me. "It's just.. nice to see you get all weak in your knees over me."
My face began to flush.
"You're unbelievable, Jesus Christ." I shook out of his hold--to my surprise--and crossed my arms over my chest defensively.
His face went back to it's unfamilar coldness as he looked at my stomach again.
