Sasuke POV
I was walking to the academy, when a strange girl with blonde hair in pigtails ran into me.
"Hey watch where your going," I said while helping her up.
Her face was masked so only her blue eyes could be seen. Our eyes locked for a minute and I blushed and looked away. She was kinda pretty... even with the mask. 'Stop is Sasuke, she looks even younger than you.' I thought shaking my head.
"Hey what's your nam-" I started to say while turning my head back around only to find her not there.
...
Class intoductions have started, but I wasn't paying attention. I couldn't get my mind off of that weird girl.
"-uke! Sasuke, you're up! Are you listening to me?" the man that goes by the name Iruka called.
"Hn," I said while getting up in my seat.
"He's so cool!" I heard someone whisper in the croud of students.
"Hn, my name is Sasuke Uchiha, I am 6 years old, and I like tomatoes," I said introducing myself.
"You're so cool Sasuke," I heard a pink haired chick call out.
"Hn," I said turning my head.
To be honest, I was a little embarrassed. I hope that this whole school year isn't like this. Maybe they will become friends with me?
"Okay Naruto Uzumaki your up," Iruka called out. The blonde boy in an orange jumpsuit stood up.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki, believe it! I just turned 5 years old and I'm going to be the next hokage, believe it!" The said blonde yelled repeating 'believe it' twice.
"He's so lame," someone said in the crowd of students. "He's not even 6."
I don't know why, but this Naruto guy intrigues me. I don't know why, but it seems like he is hiding something. Why am I even thinking this? I just met him.
After all the introductions, Iruka started explaining things about the academy he said,
"Every year we have a graduation exam and you are all welcome to take it if you feel ready. Don't worry it is not required."
My father wants me to take it this year, but I don't know if I will be ready in time. He said it was for the Uchiha pride and that Itatchi graduated early and so should I. I just hope that I won't be the only one.
...
"Alright, after lunch we will start learning about the Hidden Leaf Anbu," Iruka called out as we started gathering our packed lunches and headed out.
I noticed that the Naruto guy didn't have a lunch so I was heading over to share because I had plenty. Before I could even get there, there was a swarm of girls surrounding me.
"Can I be your girlfriend?" One called out.
"No fair Ino-pig! I was going to ask," the one with pink hair yelled.
"Snooze you loose, billboard brow!" The girl called Ino yelled back.
"Do you want lunch with me?"
"No me!"
"Sit with me Sasuke!"
All the girls started arguing over me without me getting a say in it. I needed to get out of this somehow!
"Sasuke told me that he would sit with me," a voice called out.
All the girls' heads turned toward the voice with a blood thirsty look in their eyes. The person who said it was none other than Naruto Uzumaki.
"Yeah," I said immediately agreeing with him. "I agreed to explain some things to him over lunch that he doesn't understand."
"Sasuke is sooo generous," one yelled out. Everyone agreed and one by one they left the room.
I walked over and sat by the orange loving boy. "Thanks for saving me back there," I said getting out my lunch.
"It's no problem, believe it," he said.
"Want some?" I asked pointing at my food. "I have plenty."
He gave me a weird look but quickly smiled. "Thanks!"
...
"We will start out our academy by learning about the Anbu Black Ops," Iruka started. "The captain of the Anbu is a girl with the code name Fox. No one has ever seen her whole face, not even the hokage."
"Why is that Iruka sensei?" A boy that looks like he has a pineapple on his head asked.
"No one but few chosen has seen the Anbu's faces, but they say even with the fox mask off, she has another mask on," he answered.
'Fox huh,' I thought.
...
'So no one has ever seen this Fox girls face.' I thought to myself. 'Iruka sensei never said how old she was so maybe that was her.'
I thought back to her blue eyes. They seemed to gaze right into my soul. They were...beautiful.
Naruto POV- time jump two days before the academy
"Hey old man?" I called out to my designated grandfather.
"Yes Naruto, what is it," he said while he was fighting his neverending battle with paperwork.
"Can I join the academy?" I asked.
"I don't know Naruto.. You are still young and you don't know any Jutsu yet," the hokage said trying to talk me out of it.
'If only he knew.' I thought to myself.
"But that's what the academy is for old man," I whined. "Plus I heard that someone graduated at the age of 5 so why can't I start at the age of 5?"
The hokage sighed. "Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you."
"Yes," I yelled pumping my fist into the air.
On the inside though, I was everything but excited.
'Fox' POV- time jump to day of academy
'Oh crap Oh crap Oh crap Oh crap,' was the only thought spiralling through my brain. That stupid old man sent me on too long of a mission. At this rate I'm going to be late. I hopped onto the road deciding that it was going to be faster that way.
I have to change into that awful orange jumpsuit and henge my face a little bit and- "oof!"
I went flying into the ground and I looked up. I ran into a boy around 6 years old. He had dark hair and onyx eyes.
"Hey, watch where you're going," he said helping me up. Our eyes locked for a moment and he blushed and looked away. Seeing that I didn't have time for this I quickly hopped on top of a house and started heading to my apartment again to change into my other self.
I giggled to myself. He was kinda cute when he blushed like that. I like it when people get flustered. It amused me.
"Sounds like someone got a crush," a voice said inside my head.
I chuckled at Kurama's misunderstanding. 'Nope, but hopefully we can be friends.'
"Whatever you say Kit."
