My day began with my first magic related class; Magical Creatures. I was beyond excited. Especially after all that I had learned yesterday. A lot had happened yesterday and some of it I still didn't understand. However, one thing was clear. I had a goal of finding my element and then getting my first quest.

That goal began here with my first magical related class. This was going to be a class with all the other dragon riders and, from what I had gathered this morning from the others, it was also going to be the hardest five classes this year. We had to try to catch up on the four years of basic knowledge that we had missed. This was why many late dragon riders normally stay back another year or two since not everyone can manage everything thrown at them.

As I walked into the class I saw many faces I recognised now. Slowly the other late dragon riders were becoming familiar to me. I still hadn't learned all of their names but I don't think it would be long before we all get to know each other since there aren't that many of us to begin with.

I sat down at the table in middle of the room beside Sam.

"Hey girl. You ready for this?" Sam asked with a huge smile.

This morning, I had told Sam and Sarah about what happened yesterday as they didn't see me at all after lunch. They had both been concerned about me and surprised about all that November had told me. Excitement had spread through our little group and now we all couldn't wait to start the day.

Eagerly I replied, "Not sure if i'm ready or what I should be expecting but I am pretty excited."

Sarah walked in a second later and sat down on the other side of Sam.

"Where's the teacher?" She questioned as she sat down.

Everybody was talking amongst themselves waiting for the teacher to appear but no one had showed up yet. It seemed odd that for our first magical related class are teacher wasn't even in the room.

"I'm not sure. Maybe they're running late?" Sam replied.

Nodding I said, "Yeah I guess so but still it's pretty unusual that a teacher isn't in the classroom before we come in."

I looked towards the front of the class frowning. I really couldn't believe that we were five minutes into the lesson and no teacher was here.

As I was about to look away, a bizarre shape caught the sunlight. I tilted my head slightly and the shape disappeared again. Confused, I leaned slightly to the right in an attempt to catch the shape again. After a few seconds I started to believe that maybe I had imagined it when instantly the shape appeared again. It wasn't a solid shape; it was more like a fuzzy outline. You could see through the fuzzy outline but everything inside seemed to be a slightly wavering. That was when I realised that the shape was exactly like a person's. A person that somehow we couldn't see.

"The teacher's here." I blurted out without meaning to. I was louder than I thought because not only Sam and Sarah looked at me confused but so did most of the class. Nervously, I licked my bottom lip.

Before I could explain, a mocking laugh broke through the room. The laugh belonged to Viviene, who sat at the back table beside James.

"I think you messed up your head after you fainted. So now you don't only play the damsel in distress role but also the psycho role." She mocked me before bursting into laughter again. This sent a chain reaction and almost everyone else in the class began laughing.

Of course, Roubin had to have been the one to tell her. I sent the most threatening glare I could to Roubin who smirked in reply. He was going to regret this but first I had to deal with Vivienne.
