Chapter 2

I wake up as my head is lurched forwared on the carriage seat. I almost head-butt the carriage but luckily my eyes went open before I got the chance to.

I sat up and lightly shake my head as I try to keep my eyes awake. I look out to see that it's almost dark, so I must hurry then. I fumble for my drawing book and pencil that was still next to me.

The driver turns aroud to smile at me. " Here you go miss, your destination is here."

I smile back and get out of the decorative carriage. I turn around and wave at the driver. "Thank you, I shall never forget this." I reply. The driver nodded and he flicked the reins on the horse, and the horse trotted away, leaving me in the darkness.

I sighed, shivering against the cold wind. I had my pencil in my hand and book in the other. I turn around and head out towards where the deep shelter of trees and darkness is.

It was pretty dark for me, but I was mesmorised at how the fire flies would fly around. Suddenly a beautiful blue butterfly fluttered towards me, and I lefted my slim index finger so it could land on it.

The light from the fireflies and the lamps had cast a dim glow over the woods and I could half see the beautiful butterfly. The blue butterflies' wings were blue, purple, black and gold. Well that's different. I smile as the butterfly flutters off again.

I sigh and keep walking until I land on a path. I know where this leads. I keep on walking until I lead into the park.

There were sets of lights like surrounded the park, grass transversed the path way, decorated with a variety of flowers. As I keep on walking I come to a beautiful hedge way with a fountain, and there is a beautiful lake just fifty miles away. It is a full moon tonight, and stars glittered the dark grey sky.

I sit on a bench next to a light, so it makes it easier to draw. I grab out my pencil and start to draw. The pencil seems to slide across the parchment as I shade in lighter and darker, using my arm to make smooth and sharp curves.

I picture it clearly in my head until finally for what has taken the sky to become fully black, the picture that I can't help but stare at it in awe. I drew a picture of a Wolf. It's standing in the trees with it's head out of the trees the light from a lamp post showing off it's shades.

I smile, and I just wish I could actually see it here with me. I just stare at it, picturing the Wolf walking out of the trees, it's black coat against the moonlight-

CRACK!

I snap out of my imagination and turn around, looking at the small patch of forest. I stare at the nature strip for a while, holding my book in one hand and my stubby pencil in the other. I look out to the quiet patch of trees and bushes. It's quiet... too quiet.

CRACK!

I gasp and turn around in the opposite direction, a worried look on my face. I quickly close my book and stuff my pencil inside, and start walking quickly. I walk away from the bench, in the direction of the park entrance.

CRACK! CRACK!

I walk a bit faster, adrenaline pumping in my veins. I was about to hit the entrance when a figure stepped out from behind the gloomy shadows. His eyes were full of hatred, and they seemed to be glowing. His smile made me nervous and he hissed really weirdly, his canines longer than most.

Almost like fangs.

He started walking towards me.

I start to back away. He were getting closer, his fangs lengthening as he stretched out his arm towards me. I did what a girl can only do, by instinct, I turned around and ran towards the lake.
