I was hastily shaken awake. My eyes burst open and I flinched back to find Lia looking at me as if I was crazy.

It took my eyes a few seconds to adjust as I was still incredibly tired. When everythung came into my strange 20x20 vision it came uo with the image of Lia's pissed off face.

"Rose your going to get us in so much trouble if you ever do that again. You'll get the bloody strap. Class has finished, let's go." She huffed, her flawless blonde hair whisking away as she pushing in her chair and gracefully glided away.

I however wasnt so graceful. With my reddish-brown hair, it was scruffy as I pushed in my chair with my stuff and practically ran after her.

Running after her I stopped to find that school was over. Students, men and women were leaving the school grounds. How long did I sleep for?

"You were out most of the day, even for recess. This is the third time waking you up. The other two times was when the teacher cane around and asked if you were alright." She said and we walked out of the school grounds.

"You woke me up three times? I dont remember the other two!" I exclaim.

Lia looked at me. "Did you not have an ounce of sleep last night?"

It took me a moment. The flashed of getting drowned, waking up on the side of the beach coughing out water as my lungs screamed for the oxygen in the middle of the night. I hesitated.

That dream didn't feel like no dream.

"I dont know..." I replied.

Lia sighed. "Alright, well I have something to show you when we get to your house. Im walking with you home."

"Walking? Cant we get the carriage?" I ask.

Lia smirked, a mischievous look on her face. "Did I say walk? I meant run."

"What?"

She was off in a matter of seconds, already a good distance in front of me. I sighed and started running after her.

I was never good at running, but why she decided to race me home is beyond me.

She was in front of me easily, her legs and body despite the corset and dress did nothing to slow the speed and power coming from her.

I tried to slow my breathing, to feel the wind in my hair, the power my legs made as each muscle contracted to give me my speed to run. When I came back into focus, I was in front of her. And we were at my house.

I slowed down shocked and confused. I stopped and collasped in a breathing fit.

Lia was shocked. I was shocked as well. Her breathing didnt change at all.

"How far did we just run?" I manage to breath out.

"Uh, a few miles. How did you run so fast?" She asked me confused as if I had kicked a puppy

"I dont know..." I say standing up.

Lia nodded, thinking to herself. "Well, as I said, I have something to show you. Promise you wont freak out?"

I nodded. "As long as you tell me what you're going to show me."

"Okay, go into your house and into your room. Look at the window and look at me." She instructed.

"What why?" I ask.

Why would she need me to go and look at her from outside my window?

"Just do it." She replied, leaving no room for further discussion.
