We all wake up in the morning all at the same time to a loud crash.

"THAT DAMN PAPERBOY!" dad yells when he slams the front door. The paperboy always throws the paper into the grass in the mornings, even though he knows the sprinklers turn on at 8 AM sharp. All the guys look at me and then at dad and then to me again.

"Is he going to be fine with us here?" Jace whispers to me. I nod yes and the whisper back, "He just gets hella pissed at the paperboy, yells a little and then is totally fine. It happens every morning but he's cool about the different gender sleepover thing."

"Naomi, do you and your friends want pancakes, sausage, bacon, and orange juice?" dad asks. I look at the boys who all nod yes and then yell back, "Yeah. Thank you!"

After we all eat, we head to the beach with a volleyball that I found in the closet. It was cooler that day so we chose to not go into the water and just stay near the house. We play for an hour straight passing the ball back and fourth, back and fourth. The team I was one scored a point as I dove for the ball. Everyone cheered, but when I got up my leg had something wedged into it in 3 different places. I tried to pull on out with my fingers but screamed in agonizing pain as blood started to stream down my leg. Hudson yelled at Lance and Evan to go alert my dad of my injury.

Hudson tried to help me up but I shook him off saying I could walk, but as soon as I put pressure on my leg I fell to the ground. Jeffery tells Hudson to grab my legs and Damian and him would take my arms, but being the big tough guy, and also showing off a little, he tells them that he can carry me by himself and he does. He carries me all the way to the house and when we get there my dad has already called the ambulance. Hudson sits down with me in his lap on a chair. I feel whoozy and I look down at my leg that is now, instead of a stream of blood a river of blood. I past out.
