Dad knocks on my door in the morning waking me suddenly.
"Honey, today we are going down to the school to say that you're staying for the year. We leave in an hour. Oh and Hudson is coming with us." He tells me. I look at the clock that says 6:30 AM and groan. I quickly throw on my most capable looking outfit, a cream cropped top and dark maroon colored skater skirt. I run a straightener through my hair and put on natural looking makeup. Then I lace up vans, spritz on perfume, grab a purse, and head downstairs. Hudson is sitting at the table talking to Evey about the school and how nice it is.
"Naomi! Hurry darling or you're going to be late!" Evey exclaims. She herds us out the door and to the car where dad is sitting talking on the phone. Evey gets in the passenger side and Hudson and I sit in the back. At the school, I tour everywhere. The classrooms, the lunchroom, the library, the gym, the office, and the sports arena. It was huge and I was overwhelmed. Hudson grabbed my hand as we continued to walk back throughout the school. I met the office staff and all the coaches for all the sports. The volleyball and track and field coaches told me that they looked forward to my arrival at the school and the addition I made to the team.
After I talked to the principle about my schedule for half an hour. At around 9 o'clock, we leave the school and go out for brunch. Just before leaving the place a girl around our age walks in with an attractive looking guy. She girl flirtily waves at Hudson and then giggles mockingly as she grabs the boys hand. Hudson whispers "That bitch!" under his breath so that even I, who was standing next to him, could barely hear what he said. I looked up at him confused and he shook his head disappointedly.
"I'll tell you when we get to my house." He said. After pulling into our street my dad stops in front if Hudson's house skeptically. Before I get out of the car he grabs my arm and says, "No funny business. I don't want a Hudson junior." I roll my eyes and jump out of the car. As I step through his front door I look around. His house is more homely than mine and doesn't look like it came out of 'Better Home, Better Life' magazine. It had light green walls in the kitchen and baby blue walls almost everywhere else downstairs. The carpet was white and slightly worn but not disgusting way. The kitchen had white cabinets and light gray counter tops and all stainless steel appliances. The tile was tanish-gray and it stopped at the dining area the had light brown hard wood flooring. The wood carried through upstairs and then stopped at each of the bedrooms that also had the slightly worn white carpet.
No one else was home so Hudson and I just headed up to his room. After entering he said, "Sorry for the mess" and picked up a couple shirts from the floor. His walls were a dark navy blue and his bedspread was orange. There were poster of different bands and sports teams, mostly basketball. I see him quickly grab something and toss it into the back of his closet. I give him a questioning look and then go to sit at the edge of the bed.
"So, what was that while thing about back there?" I asked. He sighs deeply and tells me, "Well so you know how Genevieve called Lance and told him that she was moving to Europe and that they had to break up and all that?" I nodded yes and told him to continue, "Uh well that girl back there, that was Genevieve. And that guy, that's a dude from a school a little outside of our school district. I've talked to the guy before, his name is Noah by the way, and he's a total jack ass. And he's also a player. I got a text from him like 30 minutes ago saying the Genevieve is moving to Rynor Lakes High instead of Europe. I just don't want to tell Lance. He's gonna be heart broken." Hudson finished. I stared at him with my mouth open and then I told his that Genevieve is a skank and also called Noah a few choice words. Hudson nodded slowly. After a few moments of silence the phone rings. He answers it and after five minutes hangs up.
"That was my mom. She said that she's not going to be home until late tonight so we're here for a while by ourselves." He informed me.
"Mmkay. So what do you want to do?" I asked him.
"Uh let's see. We could watch a movie I guess. You down for that?"
"Sure. Romance or comedy?"
"How about a romantic comedy?"
"I'm cool with that."
"Okay. To the living room!" he exclaimed. He told me to jump up on his back for a piggy back ride and I did whilst giggling. Once we get downstairs he drops me on the couch and then lies down next to me. I giggle again and he kisses me slowly. I smile and continue kissing him. I end up wrapping my legs around him while he stood and setup ported all my weight. He slowly walked to the wall, still making out with me, his lips soft but firm. We reach the wall and my back is against it while his hands are around my thighs. He removes his hands and the slowly starts removing my shirt. I help him take it off and then we continue to kiss. He then carries me up to his room and lays down on his bed with me on top of him. He fumbles with the back of my bra as I kiss down his jaw line and onto his neck. He undos the bra and then flips over so I'm then on the bottom.
I wake up in his bed. My head and arm on his chest and our legs entertained. The sun filtering through the cracks between the blinds. He had no shirt or pants on but had boxers and I had his shirt on with nothing underneath. I look up at him and he's smiling down at me. I stretch my neck up to kiss him and then I pull the covers back, sit up and stretch.
"You are so damn sexy." he tells me. I giggle and blush at the comment. He gets up and hands me my clothes and I start to put them on. After we're both dressed he takes my hand and walks me downstairs. We both grab some cereal and his mom walks into the front door. She is on her phone and doesn't even notice that I'm sitting in her dining room. She waves to Hudson and kisses him on the forehead and the rushes into the study that's off the living room. I look at Hudson and he's looking down at his food not eating it.
"She works too much." he said. A few moments of silence pass and then he says, "Let's go I've to Genevieve's house and show her that if you mess with one of us, it will come back to bite you."
