That Summer

Wait what?!

Hudson and I walked down to my house so that I could take a shower, put on fresh makeup, put on clean clothes, and get some money for eggs, toilet paper, plastic wrap, heavy cream, and condoms.

"Why do we need condoms?" I ask after he makes the list.

"Because her parents are Mormon." He replied. I gave him a confused look but shrugged and ran upstairs so I could get ready. After taking a shower and blow dried my hair, curled it, put on a yellow sundress that was pretty short, and a pair of Jesus sandals and put on minimal makeup. The I grabbed my purse and headed downstairs. Once I got to the living room where we were dad was talking to Hudson.

"What did y'all do last night that was so important she just had to sleep over?" dad asked him.

"Naomi and I were just watching movies all night and ended up just falling asleep in the living room." He replied.

"Naomi is he telling the truth?" dad turned to me.

"Yeah, we watched some comedy and the a scary movie and then some more comedy. It was fun." I told him.

"Okay. And Naomi, here's $40. I'm expecting change." he told me. I nodded okay and then grabbed the car keys on the counter. I saw a pair I didn't recognize and asked who's they were.

"Yours. I got a new car through work and I don't need it so it's yours." he shrugged.

"Ohmygoodness thank you so much!" I told him as I wrapped my arms around his neck. I then grabbed the new keys and ran out to the car. It was a dark grayish buggy that had light tan seats and an amazing radio. I squealed in delight as I jumped into the drivers seat. Hudson sat in the passenger side and laughed at me. I rolled my eyes and started the car.

"Where to?" I asked him.

"Walmart. It will have all that we need." he told me. After getting everything we headed up to the cash register. We saw that Noah was working lane 11 and headed over to that one. Noah started bagging our stuff before looking up and once he picked up the condoms he looked up at us.

"I hope these break and you get your girlfriend here pregnant." He told us. Hudson rolled his eyes and replied, "They aren't for us. They're for a...friend." I laughed and Noah looked at us weirdly. After packing everything in the car we went to go pick up Lance.

"I already told him what happened and he's all for messin with her." Hudson told me.

"K. Tell me where he lives again." I replied. After picking up Lance we headed ove to Genevieve's house. No on was home thankfully so it was easy to get in. Lance still knew the code to the gate surrounding her house and one of the windows was open. We climbed through the window and went to the kitchen. We then took the cream and the condoms and filled a little bit into three of them.

"This is so weird." I said. The boys nodded their heads but they were laughing. We then put one into the main bathroom trash can and put one in the trash can in her room and one on the floor in plain sight. We then resealed the cream and then went back to her room with the plastic wrap and covered her doorway so she couldn't get in. We the went back out the window with all the supplies to do damage to the yard. We went around the perimeter of the house with the plastic wrap and the put toilet paper everywhere. Then we threw the eggs at the house and cracked some on the driveway. After doing that we took the plastic wrap again and went around the whole gate with it. Then we threw the leftover condoms away into the trash can, closed the open window and finished throwing the eggs. The we took the trash and drove back to Lance's house.

"That was totally awesome!" he exclaimed I giggled and Hudson patted him on the back. I dropped him off at his house and then took Hudson home. Once we got in front if his house he kissed me goodbye and squeezed my boob. I squirmed and he laughed. He then winks at me and then heads inside.

Back at home Evey and dad were sitting on the couch, Evey drinking her herbal tea and dad drinking coffee. I look at them with my head cocked to one side.

"Hey you're home! Evey and I have some news for you." my dad said.

"Okay, what do you need to tell me?" I ask them. They look at each other and then at me again.

"I'm pregnant with a baby boy!" Evey exclaimed I look at her, my mouth wide open.

"His name will be Ryker! you're going to have a little brother!" dad told me. I couldn't believe it. I was going to have a baby brother and I was a senior in Highschool. I honestly didn't understand how this worked.
