9- Our secret

CHAPTER 9 ---------- our secret!

EMILY'S POV

I was walking down the hallway as I heard talking in the distance it sounded like Libby and Carl but my curiosity got the best of me. I peeked round and was listening quietly to their little convocation when I heard something that made my heart drop. "Carl I'm so worried what if I die I don't know what to do please tell me." I saw Libby start crying and I wondered why? "Libby listen I know I've already told you this but I will make sure you and the baby are OK throughout it all!" I started running and running away from the basement when I got stopped in my tracks as I saw a bin with a pregnancy test in and it was positive.

LIBBY'S POV

I heard running sounds and I ran outside to see Emily looking into the bin were I hid the pregnancy test she turned round smiled and ran towards me and hugged me said, "how come you didn't tell me Lib?" I just replied with, "I didn't know what you would say I thought you would think I'm a slag!" I felt her head shake to say no and hug me even tighter "please keep this our secret till I show?" Em just nodded and carried on hugging me even tighter!

later on that night

I was getting dressed when I felt warm arms wrap around my waist I turn around to see Carl we close the gap between us and kiss.

*moments later*

I woke up to find Carl's arms around me I tried to get out his grasp and successfully got out and up stairs into the living room but it looked like I was the first to wake up, must be my hormones kicking in already though.

CARL'S POV

I woke up and saw no Libby which worried me but I soon sighed in relief when I heard her talking to herself as I didn't hear anyone answer her. must be her hormones kicking in, it felt weird that I'll be a dad soon.

I went up stairs to see that she is eating something that she told me before she hates. "why are you eating this I thought you hated it?" she just laughed when I said this and said, "its my hormones Carl and I was just about to ask you if you wanted to go on a run before they wake up with me?" I shook my head while saying , "oh no you don't Libby you need to stay here keep safe and keep the others here while I'm gone what cha' need?"

"oh I'm craving for some chocolate and get more Comdoms for Emily also some blankets medicine formular bottles nappies and clothes oh and whatever you think we would need some stuff to help me through the birth when I'm in labour !" I nodded and headed out with my weapons and my bag.

EMILY'S POV

I was looking around in the isles of the Pharmacy when I heard a sou d it sounded like someone taking the stuff. my curiosity got the best of me yet again and I snuck up to the stranger but as I was about to hit him with my bat I realized that it was Carl, " what you doing here?" we both said this at the same time and I spoke first as usual, "getting stuff and things for Libby and her baby how bout you?"

"getting stuff,things for Libby and the Back....wait you know how?" he got cut off from his thoughts with my reply

"I saw the pregnancy test in the bin and over heard you and Lib talking 'bout' it! now c'mon let's go with the stuff we have!" we ran as fast as we could to the house we were in to see it overrun and on fire, all I could think about was Libby!

LIBBY'S POV

I can't believe this how is Carl meant to know where I am.... wait where is Em oh my god she went out too this is bad this is bad, I shouldn't even be pregnant look what kind of world it will grow up in.

1 MONTH LATER

We have been walking for miles now and no sign of Carl or Emily or even the rest of the group. I am also starting to show that I'm pregnant and now Rick, Michonne and Carlos know now so that makes them more protective over me now which is annoying.

CARL'S POV

I can't believe this it been nearly 2 months since me and our little group got split apart I wonder if Libby has started to show does everyone know now? I wonder what she is think of now? I got stopped of my thoughts when I saw a horde right in front of our eyes heading towards us!

what shall we do?
