You woke up the next morning feeling cranky but wanting to go do something. You had to admit, that wasn't a good combo. But still, you got up anyways.

Surprisingly, it wasn't a groggy feeling, unlike most usual times you'd wake up. This morning, you felt as if you could probably run a thousand miles, but obviously that wasn't the case. In all honesty, you just felt really good. Today was going to be a good day. Must be because of last night's social time, you thought to yourself as you brought yourself out of bed and ran a hand through your tangled, [Hair Color] hair.

You sent a glance over to your roommate, Isobe Gina -- Gina to you, since she was a close friend. The pale blonde wasn't in her spot on her bed. You scrunched your eyebrows together in confusion. Was she already awake?

As if to answer your question, the volleyball queen suddenly appeared from the dorm room's door, still wearing her PJs but looking fresher and neater than she would if she weren't fully awake. "[Name]," she greeted, "You're up."

You nodded and stretched. "Yeah. What time is it? Did we ever get around to setting our clocks up?" You asked her, a yawn almost breaking into your sentence.

"I did at least," she replied. Gina gently closed the door behind her, and she walked over the closet that the two of you shared. "My alarm is set to six-thirty in the morning, but it's just seven," she informed you. "Classes start at today eight for you, don't they?"

You nodded again. "When do your classes start, Gina?"

"Seven-thirty, which is why my alarm is set to six-thirty. Though most other students probably don't have an early school year like us," she explained. "Your classes are later, so you should probably set your alarm at a later time," the blonde nodded. "Savor your sleeping time."

A grin bloomed across your features, and you nodded. "Of course I'll savor my sleeping time."

Gina nodded in response as she sifted through her closet in an attempt to find something suitable to wear. "Might I ask why you're up so early though?" She questioned. "I mean, you're the type of person to usually sleep in til noon."

Your roommate only received a small shrug as a response, but she didn't question it. "I'm going to to get ready," you announced, scuffling around your room to grab toiletries and a towel. "Do you wanna try and grab some coffee before you hit the classes? I'll pay," you offered.

The blonde just shook her head. "Nah, I'm going to try and find the class building first. We can meet up at one of the cafes after or between classes though. Say, between twelve-thirty and one-fifteen? It would give us some time for lunch too," she reasoned.

You gave her a grin. "That'll work."

"Great, see you then." Gina returned your grin before picking up her backpack and shrugging it onto her shoulder. "I'll see you later, yeah?"

You nodded; a giddy one that was cheerful. Then without further ado, Gina exited the room, on her way to her classes, leaving you standing in the doorway with your pajamas on. Soon after Gina disappeared down the stairs, you grabbed the dorm room keys from off your desk and quickly shut and locked the door behind you. Your destination now was the communal bathroom, where luckily, you didn't need to shower.

Since classes didn't officially start until next week, the hallways of your dorm building were relatively silent. You were one of the luckier ones; this dorm building wasn't as crowded as Usagiyama Commons or Akiyama Commons yet. Your residency was in Moriyama Commons, which was for now, the least crowded. A total of only eight pairs of students were roomed in the building; one of which was used to be your first roommate. But due to your first roommate with you and Gina rooming with their best friend, you switched the roommate system just a tad bit. You guessed that they and most of the other students were roomed on other floors or somewhere entirely different from the area you were in because the hallways and bathrooms were silent as you got ready for the day.
