Zoe's POV:

1,2,3 ... 23, 24, 25 ... 38,39,40.

I shut my eyes as guilt over takes my mind.

I can't let it, though. This is my way of realse.

I gulp silently as I clean the mess up, throwing away the soaked up towels in a black bag. I walk out the bathroom, as if nothing happen. I skip the kitchen where Tyra waits for me with breakfast. My stomach tightens with the thought.

I close the door silently as the cold autumn air hits me. I take a deep breath as I look around searching for Bryan's car. Which was no where is sight, again.

I sit in the curb, as I look at the road. I start feeling something soak through my sleeve and when I look down I feel my heart drop. Blood was seeping through the shirt blood starting to show. As soon as I got up to go back inside the house I heard a car honk making me jump.

I look inside, seeing Bryan on his phone. I bite my bottom lip as I start walking slowly to the car. Honk! Honk!

I jump to the sound, walking faster. I feel my blood pumping as I stand outside the car waiting for him to come out. When he doesn't, instead honking again, I get inside shutting the door quietly. "Hi," I say quietly.

I look at him as he stares at me with bewilderment in his eyes. "What the hell took so long?" he yells, making me flinch in my seat. "I'm sorry," I whimper hiding my hands in my sleeves. He just rolls his eyes starting the car.

"Zoe, I'm fucking late! Can't you honestly take any longer?" he spits making me groan. "I had to do something, Bryan," I growl. I see his eyes snap to my hands and his face turns red. He slams the breaks sending me against the windshield.

"What the hell?!" I scream as I hold my arm in pain.

"Give me your hand," he says looking out the window. "No," I say boldly. I see his fist clenching, and I take this as my chance to escape. I grab the door, but he is faster, pressing the child lock. "Zoe, don't fucking play games with me! Show me your god damn hand!" he hollers making me start shaking.

I feel fear prickle me as I hand out my arm towards him. He snatches it, his grip tight. He pulls the sleeve up showing all my brand new scars. He just starts chuckling. His grip getting tighter. "Bryan, you're hurting me," I cry out as pain shoots up my arm. He throws my arm at me like trash as he puts his hands on the steering wheel.

"You're pathetic. Literally trash in a body," he growls in disgust, making tears roll down my cheeks. "Fuck you!" I yell, trying to open the door. He just looks out the window starting off. "You know, Jesse is lucky he isn't here. He is lucky he isn't with you period," he states and I feel as if he ripped out the only thing left inside of me.

I thrash my fist on his face as he grabs them applying pressure on the cuts. He slams me against the door making me cry out in pain. He unlocks the door opening them for me. The first kind thing he did all day. He shoved me out of the car slamming it behind me.

The car roared to life as he sped off leaving me in the middle of road.

I let out a sob, as everything came tumbling down. The cuts, the hits, the arguments.

Jesse's POV:

"So exactly why are you doing this?" he ask again, and I roll my eyes. I walk to the couch at the far end of the room. "I'm not repeating myself," I said icily. He remains quiet as I took the replaceable phone out, dialing out the number.

"What's the update?" I ask Lucas. I hear a long sigh and I furrow my eyebrows. "Lucas?" I ask again louder even though he was hearing. "Things are bad here, Jesse. That's all I can," he says and I know he is withdrawing information.

"Lucas, what the hell is going on? If that's all I wanted to hear I would've gone there myself," I snap feeling all ounce of patients leaving my system. "Jesse, I know you. If I tell you, you would drop everything and ruined everything," he said snarky and I clench my fist.

"Just tell me how she is doing, Lucas. That's all I'm asking," I ask in defeat. I hear him sigh and I hold my breath waiting for news.

"She is doing bad, Jesse. Really bad," he says quietly and I get up walking to the window. I run my hand through my hair in frustration. "I need you to get closer to her, Lucas. I need you to go in for me," I whisper looking over my shoulder to the guy sitting in table. He is starting at his phone and from here I can peep him on Facebook on some girls page. Creep.

I hear clattering from the other line. "What? Are you crazy?!" he shouts and I pull the phone away from my ear. "No, I'm dead," I replied sarcastically. He laughs dryly. "Are you sure, Jesse? This could put at stake what we are working on," he asks and I roll my eyes.

"Lucas, just do what I say," I say stubbornly. I hear him sigh. "Okay. I will," he says and I let go a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Thanks," I say grateful. "Anything for you man," he says and I smile. The call ends and I walk to the couch putting away the phone.

I look around and click my tongue. Bored.

I get up and grab my jacket.

"Where are you going?" Tony ask's and I roll my eyes.

"You continue with your computer hacking, and I will continue with my own stuff," I said sassily imitating him typing on keyboards. He rolls his eyes chuckling. "Dick," he calls out. I turn around flipping him off with a smirk. We both laugh as I walk out.

I zip up my jacket, pulling out a pack of cigarets. I take one butt out and light it. The smoke swirls in front of me relaxing the muscles in my body. I take one last smoke and throw it away starting to walk out towards Tony car. He doesn't need to know who I'm visiting.
