New look for summer by the way! The s/mb names are Kirby levels now!
How was everyone's day? I was pretty abrupt in the last part
Speaking of abrupt, I've got a story from today, totally optional like everything I say don't worry, do beware the cheese
But first, quick overview of people involved because writing this with the pronoun game is impossible
Queenie and Empress
Queen: best bi but he's pronounced himself the queen so that's him now
Neighbor: she lives near me lol
Flower: she knocked the float out of the pool and into a bush and Empress got all ironically worked up over the flowers in the pool so that's her now
Hostess: she hosted all us crazy people
Tol: she's one of very few girls I know that's taller than me??
We were all driven by her mom after school, yep, all of us in one car
Four in the backseat is an experience
I also got to meet Hostess's doggos and I love them sm sheesh
Me with all puppers tbh
We also went swimming!! It was my first swim of the season and it was, the, best
Despite being blonde/blue-eyed and definitely lacking in melanin, I have a bit of my mom's olive skin in my genes, and I really love the feeling of being tan, even if I never get that tan
So yea, I'm a basic white girl in other words
But it's really fun to feel the water around me again, I know that sounds weird but!! I was raised on swimming!! I don't do it seriously but it's so much fun
Honestly, sitting there on the steps, calling Empress my platonic wife, casually talking about life and grades and other people's plans for the day, it made me so happy to be part of a group
I feel less like a little lost kitten they adopted out of pity and more like an actual friend, as crazy as it is to consider, and that's all I've ever really wanted in friends, yet I've gotten so much more
Bonus lil thing here! Neighbor had a weird dream with most of us in it and it was so funny oml
Directly after her trial (she was a prosecution lawyer for Nuremberg) we all spontaneously decided to go to some picnic in a park
After going there we all got an amber alert that said that Tol had been kidnapped by some guy in a Prius, and we all decided to launch our own investigation because why not
We all have hilarious moments and mine comes first, apparently as we were searching I started crying because I was so scared for Tol, punched some guy off of his motorcycle, jumped on and told everyone else to do the same, which, they, did,, well damn
The guys we kicked off motorcycles came back with more and we got into a fight, and Empress leaped into battle while screaming 'for Jane shaffer' (the stupid paragraph format we have to use)
Then we get to some weird warehouse and Queenie pulls out a computer to start hacking things, and I guess that's where Tol was because suddenly a bunch of samurai appear and we start fighting them
Also Flower pulls out a hecking katana????
Then we rescue Tol and it's all over, yeah that happened
Afterwards we went in and watched 13 going on 30 until we all got picked up, and it felt really nice to say goodbye to the people who invited me while also making plans for summer, he'll, it felt great to suddenly not be nervous about this sort of thing anymore!
