~Jacob's POV~
I set my son down as I saw Shawn's eyes start to tear up. He choked on his words, he couldn't even look at me.
"H-h-how old I-is he?"
I tried to speak in the most calming voice I could.
"2 years old."
His breathing started to speed up as he was gasping for breath. The tears started to flow down his cheeks.
"H-how was h-he uh.. c-conceived?"
I sat on his bed since he was sitting on mine. I passed him some tissues. I felt a tug on my pants as I looked down at the little guy yawning.
"Condom break.." my voice was a bit shaky.
I picked him up letting him sit in my lap. He once again buried his face into my shirt. I looked over at Shawn.
"He's staying with us for a little longer than a few days."
"How long?"
"Maybe a month."
He wiped his tears with a tissue and looked up at me. I reached out motioning him to come over to me. He got up and walked over to me. I pulled him down to me with his shirt and kissed him sweetly. He kissed back and pulled away before looking down at my son.
"W-What's..." he cleared his throat. "What's his name?"
"Zachary."
Zach lifted his head up and looked at me from the mention of his name. Shawn sat next to me and stared at me while I stared at Zach. I stood up with Zach in my arms and laid him in my bed.
"Go to sleep. No dessert if you don't."
He whined as I pulled the covers over him. I walked over to a bag that Alexis had left me and grabbed a stuffed bunny from it and handed in to him. He instantly embraced it and turned on his side before closing his eyes. I turned and looked at Shawn. He got up and walked over to me.
"How could you not tell me? You had a whole week!" He said in a stern whisper before slapping my arm. I inhaled sharply at the impact.
"I'm sorry, I kept trying I just didn't know how.." His eyes began to fill with tears again. I quickly pulled him into my arms hugging him reassuringly. I kissed his head as he cried into my shirt intertwining his fingers into my shirt.
"I know..." I sighed rubbing his back. It killed me to see him like this.
"How about I start a warm shower for you, you can gather your thoughts in there." He nodded and let go of my shirt. I let go and went into the bathroom before starting him shower. I walked out and looked at him. He had taken his shirt off. I started staring at him. He pushed past me and closed the bathroom door before locking it. I laid on his bed and sighed looking over at Zach who was already sound asleep. All this fuss over a an innocent little boy.
