~Shawn's POV~

I woke up the next morning and Jacob wasn't next to me. "Jacob?" I rasped out sleepily, and looked at the time. Jacob came out of the bathroom, fully clothed, in a suit that made his eyes light up. "Baby go back to sleep it's 4:00 am." I looked at him, up and down. "Then why are you up so early? You aren't leaving to go see Chris this early are you?" He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. He took off his jacket and un-tied tie. He hadn't buttoned up his shirt completely yet so I could see his chest. He laid down next to me.

"No I just woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. So I got ready even though I don't leave for hours. I guess I'm just nervous."

He looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes and I smiled slightly. I kissed his cheek and he intertwined his fingers with mine. "When will you be back?" He pulled me onto his chest so half of my body was laying on him, my back to his chest. "I don't know but I promise I'll be back, at the very latest, tomorrow night." He caressed my arm as I closed my eyes. "Go back to sleep though, I don't want to keep you up." I whined at him and snuggled close. I didn't want him to leave, I don't even like it when he's at lectures. If that makes me a needy boyfriend, then I'm a needy boyfriend.

He pulled our intertwined hands up to his face and kissed the back of my hand. "Are you sure you don't want me to come?" He nodded, hesitantly. "I don't want him to hurt you." I sat up and locked eyes with him. My eyes were searching his blue orbs for something telling me he really did want me to come. "But you'll be there to protect me..." I whined. He put his hand on my face and ran his thumb over my cheek. "Baby I can't even protect myself from him. I don't want to sound like a broken record but, I don't want you to get hurt. You aren't coming with me." I laid back down with my back to him, pouting and he sighed. He scooted over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist, intertwining our fingers again. "Jacob... if you're gone who's gonna protect me from Dillon?" He chuckled and kissed my sweet spot. "Babe nothing is gonna happen while I'm gone. I'll only be gone for a little while." I groaned since I was un-able to change his mind about going. He patted my butt and got up. "Go back to sleep." I blushed and looked at him with a fake pout on my face. He squeezed my cheeks with his hands making my face look like a fish before he kissed me. He picked up his jacket and put it back on. I sat up on the bed, on my knees so I was at least a little bit closer to his face. He buttoned up his shirt and put the tie around his neck but didn't tie it. I bit my lip because he looked really, really good in that suit. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow. He stepped over to me pecking my lips. "Can you tie this for me?" I did as he asked and tied it. When I was done, I used the tie to pull him down to kiss me. He wrapped his arms around my waist, kissing me, and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He moved his hand down to my butt and squeezed. I giggled while kissing him and he slapped it. I stopped kissing him and inhaled sharply. He looked down at me and smiled. "Suits are sexy on you." He hummed deeply and it sent shivers throughout my body. He kissed my lips gently to make me smile. He leg go of me letting the space between us fill with emptiness. I pouted as he walked to the bathroom but laid back down. As he continued to get himself ready I tried to go to sleep but the empty space next to me kept me awake. He walked out and grabbed his keys, before locking eyes with me. "Go to sleep!" I frowned. "I can't..." he sighed and opened the door. "I'm going to pick up breakfast, I'll lay with you when I get back but you need to try to sleep." I nodded and closed my eyes. He walked out closing the door behind him. My eyes snapped open still not able to sleep.
