Chapter 10

A week has passed since I had that talk with Shawn. Liam would still give me smiles if we'd see each other at the hallways or in classes.

Dapat masaya ako ngayon kasi wala ng pagulo sa buhay ko pero I feel somehow....guilty.

All my life I had been harsh, frank and rude. I easily let go of what I want to say and  not feeling bad about it. Pero ngayon para bang napakasama ng ginawa ko, but surely I did worse before.

"Ms. Valenzuella, You seem to have you're own world?" I look in front pero nanatili akong tahimik. I merely nod my head and the prof started to discuss about the lessons once again.

Naramdaman ko na may nakatingin sakin kaya luminga linga ako hangga't nakita ko si Liam. Nang nakita niya akon, ngumiti ito saakin at tumingin sa harap.

Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako. How can he smile at me after what I said? He seems to....pure?

Hinilamos ko ang kamay ko. I shouldn't over think about this stupidity. Bakit ba kasi kung maka tingin siya akala mo wala akong ginawang masama? To think of it, simple lang ang sinabi ko pero for some weakling like him, he should be hurt, he should avoid me, just like the others.

Gosh he's making me suffer.....And I don't like it.

5:48 PM. I fixed all my things and put them on my bag before standing up.

Naglalakad ako ng nakita ko si Shawn. Should I? Tanong ko sa sarili ko at humakbang paharap. Maybe not... I stepped backward this time.

Will I? No I think not.....I think I will? No, no...Just no....or may—"Hey Helena...Okay ka lang?" Napatingin ako sa nagsalita. "Oh, Yeah." I said blankly.

"Parang may problema ka eh? may itatanong ka ba? Kanina ka pa tingin ng tingin?" He says, more of like a question than a statement. I sighed." Shawn." I started of. "Si....Um," This feels like cr*p. "

"Liam?" I looked at him ng sinabi nya ang pangalan na gusto kong sabihin. I merely sigh. Narinig ko ang mahinang tawa niya that made me feel worse.

"He's at the park at these times, maybe andun siya ngayun." Sabi niya at ngumiti.Tumango ako. "K."  sagot ko at tumalikod na.

Nakaabot ako sa park. The park near the lake where we fell in...gah! I shouldn't have remembered that!...

I walk around looking for Liam Till I saw him near the swing. I walk near him. Papalapit ako sakanya and I stopped few inches away from him. Nakatalikod siya sakin kaya hindi niya ako makita.

I stayed like that figuring out what to say. "Helena?" I felt my body stiff.

Nakatingin saakin si Liam ngayun and he looks as shocked as I am. He stands up still and looks at me. "May problema ba?" Tanong niya. He shows a small smile to me that made me feel something in my stomach.

I shaked of the feeling and looked at him. "Um, Just want to say one thing." Sabi ko. Tumingin sya saakin na parang nag tataka. "Okay? Shoot then..." Sabi nito.

I open my mouth but not a sound seems to be heard. I breathe heavily and opened my mouth once again pero wala parin. I hear Liam chuckle. I looked at him. "Take your time." Sabi nya at ngumiti ng napakalapad.

I sighed. God, what am I doing?
"Um." I started of. "About sa nangyari recently." I said. He gives me a confused look. "Yung insidente sa room." Sabi ko pero parang wala parin. I rolled my eyes. "The girl? Me? You?" Sabi ko. I admit I'm not good at explaining nor good at whatever I'm doing right now, but Hey, I'm taking the risk.

He still don't get me. Okay, I've had enough. " Sorry, okay? to whatever I said, I'm...Sorry....But next time you shouldn't butt in into some people's business." I said and left.

This is stupid............I suddenly felt my lips curve to a.... smile?

What the hell is happening to me??!?!
