Foundation day....... I think I'd rather stay home.
But.......
Guess being fair... I have to do my part for our booth.... Well that's what ma'am Glinda said......
Like they'd like me there too...
Anyway, I stood up from my bed, looked at my table and.....
"Leo!!! You brat!" sigaw ko. Akalain mo! He just put a picture of a clown at my table.
Tumakbo ako pababa pero naabutan ko si Leo na isinara ang pinto papunta sa labas. Narinig kong tumawa si mama. "Every year..." Sabi nito.
Kumusilap nalang ako at bumuntong hininga. Leo always do this. Every single year. IT'S NOT EVEN APRIL FOOLS!
I went back to my room and then fixed myself up, ready for school.

6:00.....
It was still early when I reached the school. The room was ready for our booth but there was no sign of a person in sight.
That' s what I thought.....
"Hey." I almost jumped in shock I looked back and because instict hit me, I was positioned ready to fight.
Tumawa siya. Goodness..... I fixed myself and breathed out. "Voyd..." I said. Tumingin ako sakanya. He was looking at me as his smile widens.
"What?" I asked as my face crumpled. Tumawa siya sa reaksyon ko. "Wala lang, I guess nakakagulat lang na naaala mo pa ako." Sabi nito.
"You're Liam's friend... Of course." Pagkaklaro ko. Tumawa siya ng mahina. "Liam huh?" He says.
"I mean he always mentions you....to me." Sabi ko. He nods. "Liam is a great guy." Sabi niya. "Isn't he?" Sabi nito at tumingin saakin.
Huminga ako ng malalim. "Oh please! Wag ka magsinungaling sa sarili mo." Sabi niya. "What?" I replied unsure.
Nngumiti ulit ito saakin. "Baka nga di ka nagsisinungaling sa sarili mo...but it seems like you still don't know it." Sabi niya. "Huh?" Lalo akong nalito sa sinabi niya.
"I know it sounds weird hearing it from me, di nga tayo close eh, but I thought if I give you a clue, you'd get it, though it's pretty obvious..... The earlier the better, since......" Sabi niya at ngumiti. "Since what?" Tanong ko.
He shook his head and then stood properly. "Kailangan ko din bumalik sa room namin... May iaayos din kami.. Final touches." Sabi niya."I hope we'll get closer from here." Sabi nito at inilahad ang kamay niya.
Tumingin ako sakanya ng matagal before shaking his hand.

The chairs were cleared out it was replaced by curtains for changing clothes purposes. So I ended up sitting by the corner of the room.
Sa totoo lang wala akong ginawa, nobody tried getting near me or giving me any job to do. Dapat kasi nasa bahay ako ngayon.
Our booth was a photo booth, provided all costumes a person might want to use for picture taking.
Madami ang nag papapicture at kahit ano ano pa and I was bored as hell, unfortunately the school isn't open for public during foundation day kaya di ako makakatakas.
So I decided to let out my phone to check for texts.......none. Liam was out of sight, baka naglibot libot.
"Helena, may naghahanap sayo!" Sigaw nila. Sighing, tumayo ako naglakad papuntang pinto.
"Voyd?" I said unsure. What's he doing here? He scoffes. "Oh please! Drop the formalities." Sabi nito. Nanatili lamang akong tahimik.
"Actually, tatanongin ko lang sana kung nakita mo si Liam." Tanong niya. "He's not with you?" Pagtataka ko. "Wait, he's not with YOU?" Patanong na sagot niya. I shook my head.
"Did you try calling him?" Sabi ko. "No answers." Sagot niya. Bigla nalang tumunog ang phone ko.
I fished it out. The callers ID was Liam. I answered it.
"Hey! Sorry, di ko nasabi di ako makakapunta ngayon haha!"- Liam.
I sighed in relief.
"Yeah, okay lang." Sagot ko.
He laughs. "Um, anjan ba si Shawn?" Tanong niya.
"Here." Sabi ko kay Shawn at inaabot ang phone ko sakanya. He took it.
"Oh!" sabi nito. "Ahh........ Ha?........ Ngayon na?........... Ah sige maya maya lang...... Oo..... Sige." nagtaka ako kung ano ang pinag usapan nila.
Shawn gave back my phone. "Kailangan ko ng pumunta." Sabi niya. "Bye." He continues and started to walk away.
After that, the day continued smoothly and stayed boring.
5:12 PM.... I decided to go home already, wala naman na akong gagawin.
I was walking with my head down feeling sleepy. Half way home, may narinig akong pamilyar na boses. Itinaas ko ang ulo ko and from a distance nakita ko ang isang babae na nakatalikod.
Her voice was kind of low pitched high, I'm not sure. I looked at her for a while but I decided to let it be and left.
Pero iba ang naramdaman ko nang narinig ko boses niya, I covered my mouth but I felt my cheek wet. I wiped it away...... The hell am I crying....
I shook of the thought and continued walking home.
