*Annabeth's POV*

Annabeth had actually slept a nice dreamless sleep. For once. This was rare for a demigod, so it had to be enjoyed whenever possible. She sat up in bed and stretched. Gods, these beds were comfortable! Feeling suddenly hungry, she threw on an orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt and jeans and went upstairs for breakfast.

She walked into the Break Room a couple of minutes later and looked around. The other 5 demigods aboard the Argo II were all busying themselves with breakfast. Jason and Piper were at stories that Coach Hedge was telling them through an IM. Frank and Hazel were trying to feed each other with a spoon. And, of course, Percy was waiting for her, drowning his blue pancakes in syrup. Annabeth smirked.'Seaweed Brain' She thought happily. Everything was so calm and peaceful. Just like it should be. Like it always was.

Wait a minute, It was never quiet!

Just then, as if on cue, a scream came from downstairs. When Annabeth tried to stand up, a voice popped into her head as if it were being whispered in her ears.

"It's nothing. It isn't worth YOUR attention."

Annabeth wanted to agree. The voice just sounded so honest, so sure of itself. Then, as suddenly as it had come, the voice disappeared, and Annabeth shook her head. She suddenly realized why it was so quiet. "Leo!" She shouted in confusion and distress.

5 pairs of golden eyes turned and glared at her. She looked at each of them, surprised, and the lights faded, each eyes returning to their original colors. All of them came to the same realization as Annabeth, and they raced downstairs to find their forgotten friend.
