Helena was very grieved due to the loss of her daughter Constantina. She has been helpless as she was ignored by his father Don Rico, who took her daughter. For this, she felt guilty.

Andres could not do anything to comfort her either. Even this man was filled with grief that he felt that he couldn't go through this challenge.

Delfin was the only source of strength for the couple. They did everything they could to protect and nurture their only child left.

However, it was just not enough. They still missed Constantina and longed for the day when they would be reunited.

When she was alone at home, Helena would just stare at the photos of Constantina when the twins were born. Then she would shed tears silently.

Indeed, Helena was just a mother - a mother who wanted to be with both of her children. She wished that she could see Delfin and Constantina play together, grow up together, and be happy together.

Every day, she would look afar, sadly thinking of what was happening to her daughter Constantina. She just wished that the child was in good hands.

Helena's longing for her daughter just weighed her down that she almost went insane. She often had nightmares, where she sees her father take away her daughter as well as her son.

Helena's misery seemed endless, indeed. Nothing seemed to fight the longing of a mother for her child.
