Amanda had just left her husband Don Hidalgo. She could no longer bear the pain inflicted on her by the criminal who became her husband. Although this marked the end of Amanda's suffering, this would just be the beginning of Constantina's greater peril.
Constantina grew up to be a very beautful girl. She was indeed good in figure, with porcelain-like skin, dreamy eyes, rounded face, rosy lips, shiny black hair, and slender body. Her physical features were everything that would captivate a man.
But all of these were just put to waste as she was in the hands of Don Hidalgo. This criminal treated Constantina very cruelly.
Constantina suffered unbearable abuse from her foster father Don Hidalgo. The old criminal often invited her to play house, and during their playtime, he often abuse her sexually. Such is so difficult, especially for a young and innocent girl like her.
Aside from the sexual abuse, Don Hidalgo often treats Constantina like a slave. The old man lets her do all the chores in the house. If she failed to do as she was told, Don Hidalgo would beat her with his rifle, hurting her in the head.
Indeed, this beautiful girl became like rags in the hand of Don Hidalgo. Constantina's beauty was overshadowed by the scars that she got from his cruel foster father. But Don Hidalgo did not even mind this. It seems that he is fond of sadistically treating women.
And so, one day, Constantina tried to escape. While Don Hidalgo was sleeping in the middle of the night, she tried to get Don Hidalgo's pistol and aimed it at his head. But, unfortunately, she does not know how to use a firearm, so Don Hidalgo foiled her plot before she can even execute it. Because of this, Don Hidalgo took the gun from her and hid it. Afterwards, the old man whipped Constantina with the buckle of his belt.
Days passed. Don Hidalgo, drunk from his feasting, was again sleeping soundly. Constantina carefully opened the window. After she opened it successfully, she jumped out. Upon landing, she was hurt, but she had enough strength to run. When morning came, Don Hidalgo's house was no longer in sight. And she sighed in relief.
Meanwhile, Don Hidalgo woke up that morning. He yelled up, calling Constantina's name, but to no avail. The girl have run away from this tormenting place.
Constantina was indeed freed from the abuses of his foster father Don Hidalgo. However, with nowhere to go, she had to roam on the streets, uncertain of what future awaited her.
