The Search Begins

The Campanillas have pledged to help Delfin in finding his lost sister, to which the young man was very grateful. 

The family prepared everything that would be useful in finding Constantina, and also Don Rico, for they were thinking that this man might have the idea on where the girl was.

Also, Rosario called over the leading media companies to help them find those people. She also gave some reward for those who would find Don Rico and Constantina.

Delfin, together with Don Pablo, asked help from people in the city to find his sister and grandfather. They also went to police stations and other agencies that could help.

Also, the Campanillas had sent an announcement to radio and television stations: The announcement said:

Calling anyone who may know Don Rico Valderrama, sixty-four years of age, and his granddaughter, Constantina Supremo, sixteen years of age, to please call us through these contact details....

Delfin and the Campanillas had also roamed the whole town and neighboring areas,in search of  both grandfather and granddaughter. They also inquired the former friends and acquaintances of Don Rico, hoping that they could give ideas on the possible location of the old man.

For days Delfin and the family searched in vain for Don Rico and Constantina. There was no news of the old man. No news of the girl. Delfin was almost giving up, almost losing hope.

However, Rosario said to Delfin, "We will find them. Just don't lose hope. Pray. They will come when unexpected."

"We will do everything to find them. We promise to help," Pablo added.

With these pieces of advice, Delfin did not lose hope. He continued to find his grandfather and his twin. He hoped that one day, they will be together again.

But one day, something unexpected happened. The Campanillas had an unexpected guest. It was Amanda Porfirio, the former wife of Don Hidalgo Cortez. It turned out that Amanda had been acquainted with Don Rico sometime before his marriage with Don Hidalgo. Now, this guest would have a lot of things to reveal about Don Rico Valderrama.
